Signed by Cowboys Cowboys elevate Isaiah Land from the practice squad

Could it finally be coming to fruition some of these Cowboy fans were angry when he left the first time, Now he's back, and now he's on the roster,

do we finally get to see if he's any good or not we show out and have a big game tonight.??

or does he disappoint??

stay tuned....
I'll be happy if he just comes in and does't mess up.

Sam Williams will get more snaps, so I hope he's coached up and ready to go. EZEs been playing well.

I'd stick Solomon Thomas on Clowney's side on first down, and have all 4 DTs out there with EZE on the right.

If we come out and stop the run on early downs, we can exploit Goff on 3rd down. Interior rush is our strength and Goff's kryptonite...

That is my thinking as well.

If Clowney is not able to go, I put Thomas out there and run Thomas / Q / Clark / EZE

Man, I was thinking that's probably what we'll see tonight.

We just need guys to set the edge tonight and let the defensive interior shine. Stop the run on early downs, and abuse Goff on passing downs.

Agreed. We're getting good end play from him both against the run and pass. I guess the positive is that Sam Williams has been playing well of late if he has to absorb some of Clowney's playing time. Might be a prove-it game for him.
We need Clowney

Stashed him? You think they are hiding him?

He was a 4th round pick and played as a rookie in Cleveland. Then they cut him after 1 season.

The Jets added him to their practice squad and then released him. We got him from the UFL.

He is where he belongs and will not be called up barring major injuries.
Why do you got to keep arguing for nothing you're trying to tell me that first they weren't using him 'cause they chose the other two over him and when I tell you he was on IR injured and that's why he wasn't on the field now you come up with a new argument let it go...

Yeah you guys are forgetting James Houston everyone keeps thinking Oh my God Oh my God clownies out The second guy I think about that can play the run and the pass very well he's tough he hits hard high energy that would be 1 James Houston...

You know the ex lion are we forgetting that little subplot he's going back home He gets more playing time he might be pretty pumped up for this game..

I listed facts. Not an argument

Good call on Houston. Although I do consider him a situational pass rusher, James Houston fits in to the passing game plans for sure.

He might light Goff up on 3rd and long all night.

I was thinking more about the ground game when I'm talking 5-man front with ST stuffing the run. Houston can eat some of Clowney's pass rush reps. It'll be cool to see how we work the rotation tonight.

If we rest Clowney tonight, I say we rest him until the Chargers game. Thoughts?

This is where we disagree I think he's a really good or at least a solid run defender as well he reminds me of Tank Like it or not that's my opinion. You know who the situational pass rusher is that would be isaiah land.

Simply talking about who might replace Clowny snaps with little drop off that would to me in my opinion is james houston....

I didn't realize he was back. Wanted him to stay on as a project.

Against a physical OL like the Lions it's interesting they're going with Land over Winfrey.

I did actually forget about Houston. Isn't this his old team?
