Twitter: Cowboys expected to pursue Saints' CB Alontae Taylor

He’s more of name a high potential guy. 63.8 PFF score. Much better nickel than he is an outside guy.

Allows Bland to stay outside. Been pimping his name this offseason. Not surprised to see them interested.

This is the slightly above average signing that can help but may not move the needle much. I think they end up with something like Dean, Taylor, Locke

Bland on the outside is ugh. Parker would have to work magic to get bland to perform against a qb/wr duo that isn't utter garbage. He only feasts vs terrible qb play and he's scared of top wideouts.

I think Bland is on borrowed time tbh. I think they are getting out of that contract as soon as the can
He can only be good if surrounded by elite leadership on defense. Like if he was on a ray lewis led ravens defense you'd see a great bland. Unless quinnen and others build a solid culture on defense he'll always be the guy who picked on bad qbs but never stepped up when things got real

I think he is just a system player. Take Al Harris away from him and he is nothing. Same thing is going to happen to Nashon Wright

Al Harris and Nashon Wright were together here for three years and he was nothing. Not saying you are wrong, or that Harris wasn't good on our staff, but sometimes a player just has an outlier good year.

I think alot of could be that Nashon was more confident. He was a low floor guy when we drafted him. His overall play wasnt great. He just had very good TO production

Question of the Saints not wanting to spend the $ on a second contract for a former second rounder . This move would be good 5 yrs in the league still a young vet could still improve under Parker & co

Dallas needs as many healthy can improve the roster CB’s as possible given the question marks on Bland & Butler
