I don't know if they ever intend to start Moore, but if so it would be better to get Green some reps while Cassel is starting since he's right handed and he's lived a full life.

Yes, so he can practice with the team everyday. If they do not activate him by Wednesday he can't even practice, so they could not evaluate him for next year. If he stays inactive for all the remaining games I would not care, so long as he can practice. Need to know if he is going to be the backup/replacement or not before we dump more picks into RT.
Better yet, play him very sparingly on the active roster so he at least gets his feet wet for next year.... It's all about next year now, this just makes too much sense.

This is the hardest time during a season, to bring a true 'rook' in and get him up to a NFL standard and function. At best, his playing would be a high gamble...and probably above his ability to adjust through the focus of scheme and upcoming opponent drama this time of year. But a diet during the black 'n blue month of December would be a dynamic and building point for the young tackle.

The team is done, but you still owe it to every player on the field to play the best players. Unless Green is looking as good as Free in practice, he doesn't play. Otherwise, the game is a joke. It's not a joke to the players.

IMO it would hurt to find out about him.

Ease him in like they did with Collins. Just one series. Then maybe 2.
See what he is able to do and how he is able to develop in game situations.

I am so fed up watching Free. And we need a replacement anyway. Use this season as good as we can to find out about Green.
