Since you edited your post after I replied to before, I will respond again. Personally I feel he did get lucky two tears ago. His record as the full time HC is .500.after five seasons. We have a very good roster, the best offensive line on football, yet can not win on a consistent basis. Again, I am not making this a bash Garrett thread but just pointing out the reality of the situation.

Maybe. Or maybe the players are overrated. Maybe it's Jerrys culture. Maybe we don't really know what the problem is.

Well it is beyond obvious that we have a piss poor coach. The evidence is blinding. Is the coaching problem showing a larger systematic issue(Jerry)??? Yes but Jerry isn't going anywhere. I did not reply to this thread to bash Garrett or Jerry but rather just to point out the obvious that we are employing pattern of a team with a good coach who will be with the team for years to come and a young up and coming superstar QB. The truth is we have a poor coach who need superstars to win and an older, injury plagued QB. Our FA plan does not match up with our situation. Given our current situation we should be signing any and every good FA available to win now.

Yes i'm sorry I lack the understanding how a piss poor coach has 12 wins and the next year his quarterback and receiver were hurt for the majority of the year and he won 4 games. So he got lucky in the 12 win season but he was piss poor in the 4 win season. That's understandable. Plain jain common sense analysis at its finest....

Not sure what has to do with anything. Some of these guys on this current team weren't even on the team 5 years ago. Same for the coaches too. So should I judge them based on what they did 5 years ago or what they did the past two years?

Look, I could bash Garrett all day (seriously, it is fun and easy because there is lots of ammunition) and you can defend him and it changes nothing but it does make the mods angry sometimes. I did not post in the thread to just bash Garrett rather to say the way we are approaching free agency does not make sense to me given our current situation. I presented my point of view on that subject. You may or may not agree with that. You can have the last word on Garrett or we can discuss free agency. I will not keep up this back and forth on just the Garrett topic. You know the old saying, opinions are like butt-holes, we all have one and they all stink. Say I say peace my friend.
