The players didnt agree to WRBC, the team didnt say "hey WR is WAY more important than our run game"

I’m happy with Cooper over Watkins but it’s really apples-to-oranges comparing the two.

KC’s offense goes through Kelce (arguably Hill) while the Cowboys brought in Cooper to be their #1 receiving option. The numbers and usage rates are obviously going to be different.

Ezekiel Elliott has 6 rushing TDs in 12 games so far this season. Zeke had 7 rushing TDs in 10 games last season and 15 rushing TDs in 15 games as a rookie.

Dak Prescott has 5 rushing TDs in 12 games this season. Dak had 6 rushing TDs in 16 games last season and 6 rushing TDs in 15 games (barely played in finale) as a rookie.

The difference is Cooper has had pro bowl seasons. Watkins has been a bust as a top pick, for whatever reason you want. Certainly not apples and oranges. Watkins has done little in the nfl
