Notice Ray Sherman is NOT mentioned and we all know he was interviewed. Color me a skeptic of this.

I read somewhere on this board today where Sherman declined to interview with the Rams. It was in one of the news articles somewhere. Don't know the truth behind the claim, but that's what was in print.

No, a lot of times those decisions are like the draft. Some decisions are good, some are bad. You do the best with the info you have.

Nobody really knows what is going to happen for sure - except the posters here, of course.

I agree with what you said; however owners and GMs do go with the flavor of the month (or year) a lot of times. That's been shown over and over.
You think Jim Shwantz was a leading candidate anywhere last season? He was just as good a coach last season as he was this season.
