Cowboys got screwed Sunday before Thanksgiving!

having to play a prime time game less than 96 hours from Turkey day is brutal! Especially after having to fly cross country. hopefully the Giants are terrible so that game gets flexed.

It matters because of when you start your day on Monday. Instead of getting in the film room and starting meetings at 8 it's pushed back to 12 or 1. Plus treatment for injured guys. On short weeks every hour is critical especially against a division rival like Philadelphia

Dallas to NY is not exactly cross country. It is only a 3 hr to 31/2 hr plane ride I believe but I do get your point. We just have to play with the cards that we have been dealt.It is what it is.

The Cowboys Monday will suck and be pretty much worthless from a preparation point, so they'll only have Tuesday and Wednesday to get ready. Meanwhile, The Eagles will lose one of the days Monday-Wednesday to travel, and therefor that day will be pretty much worthless from a preparation point. At the end of the day, 2-2=0 and this will wash out. I'd also rather the short preparation week for Philly be at home verse on the road.

I'm sure Tony had the schedule makers make that Sunday a late game so that he didn't have to cut his bye week vacation short. As it stands now his plane from the Bahamas doesn't land in New York until 5PM that Sunday
