I think we need to realize that Logan Wilson and Minkah Fitzpatrick just have to be better than Kenneth Murray and Donovan Wilson. These guys are definitely on the downsides of their careers and no longer impact players. As long as we're getting them for late round picks, I am happy.

We've had 30 years of failure here. I just want us to try something different. If that means trading practically every pick, I'm OK with that. The only one that would be untouchable for me is our first-round pick. Give me Hendrickson for Green Bay's first, T'Vondre Sweat with our second, Minkah for our fourth, fifth or sixth and Wilson for a seventh and let's roll with it. I wouldn't even mind adding a vet corner.

Would love to also trade Tolbert, Schoonmaker and Mazi to recoup some of those late-round picks, or if needed, to sweeten the deals to get those players.

I’m a not big fan of Fitzpatrick, actually wrote a post in him today.

Look it at this way, more you fill now, the less you have to do in the offseason. If the price is small, you make the deal

And that’s what this is about. No rentals. But if I can fix my team now for next year? Do it.

I don’t trust the Cowboys ability to draft defensive players after pick 15 or so. I do agree that a S and MLB is a must but so is an able DE.

i don’t either but I don’t think it’s talent issue. We can say we don’t like Taco and Mazi but if the Cowboys don’t take them someone else will. You have to develop your talent. Micah was a freak of nature but he even had to develop some and be out in good spots to succeed. You can’t avoid the draft for ever on defense. This defense will be as good as our drafts are.

Rocky you have been here long enough to know that there is a vocal minority that don't want the team to succeed and want a total rebuild and will crap on virtually anything positive done by the owner,the QB, the coaches.

I give it the attention warranted and it goes out with the morning flush. We have alot of so called experts that think their opinion is more valuable then the next guy.

Now I root for dubs every week but at this point I'm not sure that this team can get to the playoffs but there is still a half a season to go.

Stay positive Rocky it pisses them off and that's your reward.

Fitzpatrick is a very good player. I'd be interested to see the cost. He isn't owed very much on this year's deal (most of that is on the Steelers dead cap) -- salary balloons in 2026 but that could be addressed with an extension if he pans out.

Really good player -- they are only thinking of moving him because they are undoing all of the fired GM's moves.

He's been spot on more than he's missed. Called the CeeDee Lamb deal down to the dollar amounts and was right about other moves. He does have sources, but sometimes he reports on things prematurely.

Wilson and Fitzpatrick would eliminate 2 needs for next year. Hopefully it is a late round pick for Fitz. I like him but he will be here just one year after this unless he get's a new deal.
