Cowboys have big bucks tied up at DT now

EF said we had all these guys paid high dollar to carry dak, why can't he get a few?

I didn't mean as Clark or Odighizuwa. Im saying Williams lets us move on from Odighizuwa if he isnt worth his contract in 2027
We could. But if they want money next year Clark costs nothing to cut and saves 21 million. If they make a move at DT after this season, which I think they will, it will be Clark because that clears a lot of cap space to pay Pickens

Yea, that is the obvious move.

No, they don’t delete this thread. They can release Kenny Clark next year without any penalty and Quinn Williams has no guaranteed money after 2026.

Clearly overpaid for Osa. He's good but I think it's clear that a big part of Osa's success was based on DLaw & Parsons

I think a big part of the success of the defense in general was because of what DLaw and Parsons could do

In case it hasn't yet been mentioned, Dallas is not obligated to pay Clark anything after this season.

Picking up Williams today pretty much confirmed they won't. Remember, Dallas wanted to trade Parsons to the Jets and get Williams back in the trade package, but New York couldn't meet Micah's cost.

Facts, There is no way Osa should be even close to Quinnen Williams in money lol.

Osa is a top 30 DT. Quinnen Williams is a top 5 DT.

I have no problem with them spending money on the trenches.

Show me a successful team, I'll guarantee that team has solid trenches on both sides of the ball. Im glad we're trying to invest in those areas.

I imagine Clark is the odd man out. They also could move Osa in the offseason before the draft.

He has value and the contract is not that bad for a team that is looking for help at 3T
The only NT is the one out? Osa is the one dimensional player in this conversation and he isn't elite at the one thing he does do.

I've got to believe that Kenny Clark is gone after this year unless he is willing to take a pay cut. $0 cap hit for the Cowboys to let him walk after the year.
Simple adjustment and his cap hit reduces to 8-9M.
