We don't have to have Miller to be succesful.

But with 27 million go sign

DE - Dante Fowler, MLB - Bobby Wagner, P - Johnny Hekker etc. etc

Like your thinking...but man I dont think players are wanting to buy what Stephen Jones is selling....Dallas is just not the choice destination any more.......

This is getting to be hilarious. They just refuse to sign any outside free agents in the first wave no matter the circumstances

Organization hosed itself with Gregory and it doesn't look like there was a back-up plan. Gregory was supposed to show some loyalty to the Joneses and, welp, that didn't pan out....

Yet they continue to sign no one while the free agent pool is rapidly dwindling. It's like they have some stupid rule where no matter what they won't sign any outside free agents until after the first week of free agency. We've seen this every year now for as long as I can remember. At least in past years we had the excuse that we legitimately could not afford anyone and we didn't lose half of our roster.

What was the point of creating all this cap space? Also why get rid of Collins? We don't need that cap space anymore and he isn't going to net much in a trade. Another roster hole for no apparent reason.

Instead of signing one or two players who could actually have an impact, it seems we will yet again sign a ton of JAGS to low contracts and cut half of them before Week 1.
That’s a bit misleading
Almost half the league could very simply restructure a player and have much more
We’ve already done most of the restructured that we can and we have 26 mil

The available cap space can pay for half of Dak’s cap next year, so still in the hole.

I have posted this for years…… wait for it.
Jerry Jones does not care about winning another Super Bowl. When he comes into his office Monday morning, winning a SB is not even in his top 10 to do list.
He has accomplished everything in his career. He has the golden goose and as long as he can go 8-9 or 9-8 he is a happy camper. He just wants to take in hundreds of millions in profit every year. The franchise is valued at 7 billion dollars. We will not even try to win a SB under his watch.

Is hell nice? I've been trapped in purgatory for the last 27 years with this franchise.

Here is the issue and why, stephen jones is over contracts and salary cap, remember when jerry jones signed deion sanders, stephen got into a fist fight with jerry, did we have to pay cap loads of money yes but we won a superbowl to. We were in the red over the signing, but stephen resented the cap over that for years. Here is why when cowboys arent in red, at end of year, stephen gets a big percentageeof the profits, when were in the red stephen doesnt get as much. Remember when we signed, TO, we went in red again, so stephen had to work to get cowboys out of red, stephen really doesnt care about superbowls as long as cowboys are making a profit at end of year and stephen gets his gross bonus profits at end of year.

Awesome, now Dumb and Dumber can sign more JAGS than ever before! More chance of at least a couple playing average football

They will do nothing with it. Nothing productive that’s for certain.

The Cowboys are keeping that cap space plus next year's bump in the cap available for a guy that's going to demand that he calls his own shots next year (ala Bill Parcells). That guy is Sean Payton. They have zero interest in winning this season. Every move they've made screams that they have no desire to compete this year. What's going to be hilarious is when Payton goes somewhere else.

They got that covered, the backup plan is Quinn.

That is why he never took a HC job even though he got several offers. Also, Jerry around that time said that Big Mike "aint going to be head coach forever".
