Signed by Cowboys Cowboys hire Raiders QC Coach Kyle Fuller as Assistant OL/QC Coach

It's an entry level job and the Raiders was his first year and now his HC Pete Carroll has been fired. No reason to hate this hire.
True. He went from a college grad assistant to NFL quality coach, and now he gets to add assistant line coach to his resume. That's pretty good progress.

Not promising here.

The role is considered a high grinding feeder system to the coaching ranks. If you have a guy running through lots of teams and not progressing then this is not a good look.

Good QA/QC guys tend to move up or they are not let go by their respective teams because they are literally idiot savants who can see insights and trends in the most miniscule of details.

Not hopeful about this hire.
Is it also possible the Raiders' new OC wanted his own guy?

Why???????? The Raiders have been trash for some time now! I wouldn't hire anyone who has been employed by the Raiders the past few years. Drop down into the college level and start hiring asst coaches from WINNING divisions and programs.

QC, or Quality Control, is essentially a computer-savvy staffer who studies film on other teams and identifies the most effective plays to use against them. It is more of a Moneyball-style role than a traditional coaching position.

Vegas Baby!
