I mean just seems unnecessary to worry about why they hired him, that I'm betting when they come out and announce all these hirings do a press conference, actually list these guys on the official website, you'll see what their roles are..

I thought the non-cap on how much you can pay coaches or how many you employee, you might as well get as much as you can...

I thought that was the narrative around here, I think that's what they're doing. I am pretty sure they lost it offensive coach maybe on the verge of losing two, I don't remember who they are but maybe they're replacing them...

Cowboys assistant WRs coach Tiquan Underwood is no longer on staff. The team conducted multiple interviews early in the week for his replacement, so this could be for that role, not for one on Christian Parker’s defensive staff.

Of note, QB fellowship coach Dele Harding is also no longer on staff.

Just as long as Junior Adams is still the WR coach . Lamb Pickens Flournoy all outstanding in 2025 should all improve on it . And he coached FA Holden in Oregon in 2024. I expect Tolbert gone in free agency sets up
a battle for WR 4

Edit/disclosure: I don’t know these lower level coaches from anyone else, same as the rest of you. I just hate Jerry and his act and will take a shot whenever I see fit. He gets no benefit of the doubt from me. The days of hoping that the blind squirrel prevails are over. Not happening. Not in this league at 84 years old, which would likely be the case even if he was once successful at this, which he was never since he decided to take over everything. It’s absurd and embarrassing. If his kid and McClay are actually running things, well then they aren’t qualified either, but they play the game and stick to the story, so we are stuck with it.

Seriously?

With the WR's group they have (which is why bringing back Pickens is a must). If he can make them even better.
It makes the D better by having to define a top group. Practice against better to get better.

There is a Bill Walsh diversity coaching fellowship program for guys trying to break into coaching. They usually are just for the offseason & training camp.
