Cowboys hotel in Detroit?

Headed to Detroit this weekend for the game. Does anyone know where the boys are staying at?

Be careful if staying in Detroit city limits. There are areas in Detroit that give the slums of Mexico City or Rio a darn good run for their money.

Headed to Detroit this weekend for the game. Does anyone know where the boys are staying at?

We reserved 8 rooms at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center because I had heard they were staying there.
I downloaded the Dallas Cowboys Media guide and it says they are staying at the Westin at Metro Airport.

I really hope they are at the Marriott.

Thanks .... I didn't stay at the same place they were at last time but we found out where they were staying and saw them in hotel lobby getting on the bus to head to Ford. . It was pretty cool

I would assume the Marriott - it's in fortress Cen City. There is a Westin Downtown too, kind of old, both are OK - the airport is pretty far away, but safe. Downtown Detroit is the truly the biggest ghost town at night - more unlit sky scrapers than anywhere outside of China.

Yeah, I have no idea how assiduously they stick to that schedule - the only time that I've been in the same hotel with them was by accident in Dallas - it was a Marriott, so perhaps they default to that, if they change.

I called the Westin and they won't confirm or deny if they are staying there. Even though I told them that it is in the Cowboys media guide.

I used to live/grew up in the metro Detroit area. Downtown is actually not that bad. Don't stray away from Jefferson Ave or Greek Town and you will be good. The last time they played at Ford Field they stayed at the Detroit Marriott/Renaissance Center.

To make sure just call the Dallas Cowboys PR department and they will tell you. I met a lot of the players there. But the building is pretty big and there are multiple ways players can get around.

I usually get uptight when Dallas plays Detroit. All my friends give me the business. Detroit always gives Dallas fits. I seen most of their match ups in person and of course Detroit's lone playoff victory against Dallas.
