Overrated how though?
They have a strong DL. Great pass rush. I would take that overrated DL all day, everyday.
I respect Schwartz's scheme. But they are used to playing one-dimensional.
The Commanders shut them down because they can run and their OL matches up well.
This game was a lot like the Pittsburgh game. They did the little things to break will.
And that defense did what it does best, be aggressive. That is the key with them.
They have a good pass rush and an opportunistic secondary that takes advantage of the pass rush. That's really about it.
They're giving up almost 5 yards a carry, and that's two weeks in a row Wentz has looked completely pedestrian, with today being just bad. If he's not taking sacks like he did against Wash, he's turning it over like he did today against Minn.
They're completely mediocre on offense, league average in just about everything, and now with the sieve at RT i'd expect them to do worse.
Minnesota is just a complete disaster on offense. Between OL injuries, AD out, the worst rushing attack in the league or close to it, no playmakers to catch anything besides Diggs. And Bradford. Their defense is legit, but they haven't played a team that can actually run the ball.
I'd have little problem saying Dallas, as of right now, looks to be the most complete team in the NFC. Having two of the 'better' teams with weaknesses along the OL and severely lacking playmakers, our defensive weaknesses aren't looking to be that much of a hindrance. Considering both teams rely mostly on their pass rush to win games, our OL and run game balances that out pretty nicely.
This is a weird season but it's shaping up to be one where Dallas actually might be the best team in the conference. Haha. Crazy.
