They have a average Dline, ****ty linebackers and a poor secondary. Only two players competent on that d are Cox and Kendricks, even he has played poor this year. We will run down their throats with ease
And that is a perception based on knowledge of matchups. I can deal with that.

Not that idea that things are based on intangibles.

Momentum matters in-game, not across games. When teams look at "momentum" late in seasons, it has a lot to do with injuries and how the respective opponents matched up or actually care, especially in the last four games.

Graham and Logan are solid players on the line. And Jenkins is one of the better safeties in the league.

Vikings may have a great defense but there is really nothing to fear from their offense.

Im definitely not feeeling as confident after watching Eagles dominate Vikings who were considered best team in NFC at this point.
I wasn't really impressed with Wentz. He seems to regress more each week.

They basically have the same D that we struggled to run the ball against the last two years up front.

All comes down to how we handle their DL, namely Cox and Logan.

Solid. Nothing more. Jenkins has been notoriously garbage in coverage his whole career, he is finally having a decent year. And he is not a centre fielder. Like I said, extremely overrated defense. Can't stop the run. Only thing they do above average is rush the passer. And they have played teams with horrible lines. Only game changer there is Cox.

Philly's defense has shown it can wreck a game. They've also gone through terrible stretches of play in two of the last three weeks.

The ability to run against them will be huge. Philly played great today, but we also saw Minnesota's complete lack of offensive punch finally rear its head. Stopping McKinnon with a line missing its starting tackles is a different challenge from stopping Zeke and what is likely the best line in the game.

We've got to win the battle up front. If we do, I think we win the game.
The Eagles defense feasts on momentum. If the opposing OC panics and abandons the run, they will win. They are built to rush the passer. No question about it.

Minnesota ran it well with no passing game. Average defense that can rush the passer decently on their day. Nothing more. Establish the run and they get destroyed

Running the ball statistically and running the ball well to control a game are different things.

Once they decide to pin their ears back, sure, you can run.

The Vikings were exposed today, if you get a 1-2 td lead on them they can't come back from it. The Eagles didn't fear their run game at all, and they were able to stop it with just their DL.
...and that's what we do.

I expect things to get tight down the stretch. We still have Pittsburgh and Minnesota to play except, unlike the Eagles, we don't get to play them at home.

Hey hey. Don't come in here with that kind of talk. Can't you see this is evdently a cheerleader thread. These guys are ready to bet their first born the DC will "crush" the eags.

Not in a fight at all. Pretty clear we are the number one team in the division by far. Eagles defense is one of the most overrated I've seen in a while
Exactly what I think! Vikings are fools gold. I would not be shocked to see them lose two out of the next three games or something like that

I am more concerned with the Commanders over the long run than the Eagles. But for this week I am more concerned with the Eagles.
It won't be easy against them. But sure hope I am wrong and it will be easy to beat them.
That's what I thought after they handled Philly last week and still might be the case. The bigger point is our division is much tougher from top to bottom than originally thought including us.
