Cowboys Inactives; what's going on with Blue?

I don't remember there being a lot of hype in TC. He was hurt for a lot of it.

I really thought things would improve after McCarthy left. But the Cowboys approach to the running game is business as usual.

How?

We have a back that is in pace for 1,300 yards at 5 yards a clip. Blue is a back that showed in his opportunity that he cant be trusted with the ball. What we have been doing with the ground is one of the few things that has been working this year. It a vast improvement from last year

I think Blue pissed off somebody on the coaching staff. I mean, they keep trotting out Murray and he's terrible. Can't imagine his football IQ is better than Blue"'s. But, what the heck do I know.

I don't think Brian has the patience to deal with kids that don't wont to grow up aka Mazi

He clearly isn't showing enough to be active.

Brian from the TC days has called out Blue. Either he doesn't like him-unlikely but not out of the realm, or the player isn't fully committed to being in the NFL.
Some players fall in the draft due to being a small school player, or injury, or just an overload at their position.
Blue played at a top college, had great athletics but still fell. Maybe instead of thinking the coaches are stupid, there's some responsibility needed by the player before the coaches can trust him with the ball.

I think Brian is a puppet in some ways to Jerry, but if Blue is a knucklehead, I'm glad he's not getting snaps just cause he was just drafted.

Blue is very immature and lazy apparently. He's been sent a clear message from the start. Have a feeling he might get cut next off-season.

uh- hes just not that good and has fumbling problems....he doesn't have the same level of speed differentiation when playing at the pro level and it is pretty clear he isnt special.

How many fumbles does he have at the pro level?

I bet they could put up with his supposed immaturity if he wasn’t a fumbling machine. But Blue is a fumbling machine.

He is a liability when on the field at this point. Any smart NFL coach flat out does not want to give snaps to a RB with an atrocious fumbling history.

1 fumble out of 22 carries in the NFL....he had a very well documented fumbling issue in college and didnt resolve during the preseason, then he had one in week 8

in college he fumbled in 1 out of every 30 touches, so same issue he had then and is not trust worthy.
