According to several sources via Twitter .

I hope we don't give him anything above the minimum .

From an effort and intensity standpoint, he would fit in well. Clayborn has a very good motor.

His injury history would be a real worry. Has had two seasons out of four where he played all 16 games, but he played a combined four in the other two (2012, 2014) due to injury. His lack of strength in his right arm due to Erb's palsy is another concern.

Whats up with everyone wanting to low ball a plplayer ? No one will sign a league minimal contract this early in free agency.

its incredible...people for some outrageous reason, seem to think players will just sign any deals that are put in front of them

we should really go after Suh and see if he will play on an incentive laden contract...if he doesnt get 10+ sacks, he only gets the vet minimum

Too much injury issue from that list,. Not to say he can't be healthy this year.
What were his injuries? I prefer to wait, see if he is available later if we still need or want to sign him.

Some people like to talk about the money as if its coming out of their pocket. What Jerry spends doesn't affect me whatsoever.

Yes but we are fans that understand the salary cap. Over paying this guy could mean we lose a player somewhere else. I wouldn't mind him he could play SDE on 1st and 2nd and slide inside on nickle downs . I just don't want them to over pay.

Born with Erb's Palsy, which resulted in nerve damage in his right arm. Torn ACL in 2012, torn biceps in 2014. Played and started all 16 games in 2011 and 2013.

That's just what we need.....(sarcasm).......another player to be comparable to the other DL guys, status quo in my opinion won't cut it.....you saw what that got us this past year. LIttle pressure and low sacks on the QB, and with the secondary we have, that is suicide. We need a game changer or two on the DL and with the emergence of DLawrence, Gardner, Crawford, Mincey.....we could have ourselves a great line. BUT......we need that game changer...hope that is their stance as well.

Even if you buy your clothes at Wal-Mart, don't you also get some special duds from Nordstrom, Nieman Marcus, or Lord Taylor for those special days.? Sometimes quality is indisputable and you pay for it.

I never view Suh as a 10 sack guy. Maybe Hardy or make a run on McPhee.

with an injury history like that, you're not getting a bunch of guaranteed money or a long term deal...

If anything he will look for at least several million a year. A team can place clauses in the contract to protect themselves from an injury player.
