If he comes cheaply and it would result in the release of Heath, then do it.

Can you please read stuff before posting terrible information? Stop making yourself look silly, thanks

'Free-agent FS Thomas DeCoud (Falcons) said he has received interest from the Dallas Cowboys but no visit has been scheduled at this point. - See more at: http://www.kffl.com/hotw/NFL?page=1#sthash.9pkXNDPn.dpuf'

I posted the source quote from the Detroit Free Press.

You posted the capsule from KFFL.

Can you please read stuff before posting terrible information? Stop making yourself look silly.

Thanks.

Agreed on Wilcox.

To judge that he's a suck based on a part-time role in his rookie season seems like a case of premature evaluation to me.

He is an inexperienced player.

He looked excellent in the first Eagle game and then got hurt, leading up to the Calvin Johnson public rape.

I still do not know why he was shuffling in and out after that.

I would like to say that it is true that a lot of Falcon fans were happy he was released but many of those same fans knew that he is still a good player in the right system.

Decoud had a pro bowl year because MIke Smith still had influence in playing zone. Last year, the Falcons played a lot of man and that was when Decoud got lost. I think in a zone heavy defense, he is good. Just don'thave him stick a slot wr or a te.

So we make our judgements based off of biased opinions now?? Ok.

But for those who actually read up on the guy it seems he was stuck on a horrible defense last year, with two bad corners no pass rush, and a offense that kept him on the field. I'm not one yo jump to conclusions but I'd think those played a part in the decline in play. I find it hard to believe dude goes from probowler to trash in a year.

"Lucky interceptions"??? Lmao what in the heck is that? It's called assignment and clearly he was in his proper position.[/: 36855"]So we make our judgements based off of biased opinions now?? Ok.

Or rather than reading up on him, you could actually watch the games and make your own opinion of him like I did. You are welcome to disagree with my take, but I watched 8-10 Falcons games last year. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you probably didn't. (I live in Atlanta, so they are on TV every week. So I normally end up watching them while waiting for Cowboys late games,SNF,MNF games.)

Actually I did in both his pro bowl and last season. I stayed in vinnings for training this and last year. So I have seen dude play even went in person vs the boys in 2012. Also am forced to watch them play at my local bar in md because one of my crew is a falcons fan.

So yeah I have seen him play, enough to know he's a upgrade over our Fs position.

Falcons beat guy accused him of taking the big money deal and getting lazy.

Not sure how accurate that is but it seems to be a sentiment shared by Falcons fan base.

Then again the avg Cowboys fan thinks Henry Melton had more sacks last year then Ware and Hatcher combined so take that FWIW.

DeCoud would be a guy I'd kick tires on. Low cost look like with Weeden and you need some protection over Wilcox not learning the defense and Heath not learning to play the ball and over Matt Johnson just not being able to make it through an NFL practice week, much less game. Would be a good move to lessen draft desperation at safety. Precisely the job of a good front office to do just that.

Yeah, better then what we have, in the draft after Clinton-Dix, Pryor, Ward and Brooks seems kinda shakey

FWIW, Milton has never been questioned about his work ethic or play on field. Unlike Decoud.

Just 1.5 years ago, the guy was an above average pass coverage S. If signed, obviously the hope is he can revert closer to that form and not what he apparently displayed in 2013. Age isn't an issue.
Given the Cowboys shaky current S situation, they are not in a position to be picky when exploring options.
