I wonder if they're looking to ditch of Orton.

Orton has a fairly fat contract for next year, and he did not impress when pressed for duty (couldn't throw the long ball at all).

He would be on my list of poor-value deals that need to be cut.

Yea, his contract is like $4 million range...............very unimpressed with his performance in week 17 compared to how much money he is being paid.............defiantly would cut him and save $

Bring them to the OTA and camp if they can fill a role great if not then no loss to the Cowboys. I noticed none were defensive players and that is where I think the main focus will be in the draft.

Saw that....too bad. Thought he could have been a decent camp body. We never seem to sign guys that have a chance to make it. It's either guys you have never heard of.......or guys you have never heard of.

I don't think we should ignore any sources that may improve this team. CFL or Arena League included...why should we? It's not as if our roster is brimming with talent at this point in time. If there's someone like a Cameron Wake (CFL guy) out there...then why not bring him in for a look? There's absolutely nothing to lose by doing this so I don't see the problem.

This is purely being used just as an example, but If there's an AFL QB out there that can outperform Romo (a Kurt Warner) then go for it. I don't care where our talent comes from, where they went to college, or when they were drafted...I just want good players who can help this team win.

We're cheap! Plain and simple. No Jerry's not cheap overall, but he has to go cheap on role players. He's paying too much for stars, like he always has, and going bargain hunting for all the rest.

Yea you can have faith in a guy to grab hold of a postion. But once your further down the stretch the games mean more and your prospect has not advance much at the NFL level its time to pull the plug. I felt i saw Allan Ball all over again. Was JJ to proud to admit he was wrong by cutting Will Allen to early? JJ and his ego need a change.
