Cowboys looking at Bollinger of the Vikes, what film were cowboys looking at?

ok the cowboys are actively pursuing chris simms or bollinger, my question is this, what film were the cowboys looking at between the vikes and cowboys;

plus bollinger is 6-1, kinda short,

to me, bollinger sure didnt play good last night, what do you zoners think?

I could be wrong... but I thought Bartel played better than both Booty and Bollinger when we played them. Maybe it was just because he got to play the whole game?

Biggest surprise: If you've been reading the NFC East blog this afternoon, none of these names should surprise you -- save for one. I may have nailed 20 of the 22 cuts, but I didn't see the Mike Jefferson cut coming. After T.O. and Patrick Crayton, I have no clue who's going to play receiver against the Browns. Sam Hurd, Isaiah Stanback and Miles Austin are all hurt. The Cowboys cut Jefferson and "Hard Knocks" favorites Danny Amendola and Todd Lowber, so prepare yourself for an emotional episode.

Third-team quarterback Richard Bartel came close to making the team, but he ended up being the last man on the chopping block. I'm hearing that the Cowboys are actively pursuing quarterbacks Chris Simms and Brooks Bollinger. If they don't get either player, Bartel will once again be on the practice squad.

I think Mosley is wrong on that. Just my opinion, I don't think we have any interest in Bollinger at all.

Bartel will be on the PS regardless of whether we get a 3rd QB or not.

I heard Micky and Brad on talking Cowboys, they said the Cowboys are trying to find a young QB who can learn the system as the 3rd QB this year and can take over for Johnson next season. Johnson, oc course is 40+ yoa and this will be his last year in Dallas. They were pretty adment that the Cwoboys would carry 3 QB's this year.

That's why they are looking at young QB's with some NFL experience, who can learn and take over the number 2 next year.

We have what, 11 draft picks next year?

Why not draft a QB or two next year ... instead of paying a retread to hold the clipboard and take up a roster spot this year.

A multi-year contract (for Simms) would stifle us from spending a quality draft pick on a QB for years to come. The dude fairly sucks anyway.

I think Mosely doesn't have same connections he used too

he said earlier that Bartel made the 53 man squad, then after the cowboys cut him he says oh well he just barely missed it.

He and others have been riding the chris simms bandwagon for awhile. It's just him yapping.
