The later they could get him the better I would like him.

He could be a good candidate for FS but i feel he going to go well before our pick in the 2nd.

I doubt he will make it but he would be a great 2nd round pick.

Yes, his 4.57 was a little slow for CB. Yes, some CBs (Joe Haden) succeed with that type of speed, but more often they don't, especially after a couple of years in the NFL.

I was a big fan of him early with his highlight reel, but his game tape on draft breakdown was not good at all. I need to watch again and try to understand where all the love is coming from.

this does not impress me

use a 2nd rder on a guy who

At the college level, he only has one year of cornerback experience and hadn’t played that position before the spring of 2014.

But, he seems to be a natural fit at corner. He’s quick, lanky and has a solid build. Rollins isn’t afraid of contact and is strong enough to deal with physical wide receivers that try to disrupt him. When you add in his great closing speed and excellent leaping ability, you’ve got a prospect that is worth taking a bit of a gamble on.

I sure would not

Exactly.......

This guy sucks. Has no football awareness. Would hate this pick:thumbdown:

It's coming from his lack of experience. People think he's got a lot of upside. I'm not a big fan. I'll be swinging over the drain pipe if we draft him in the 2nd round.

Not a huge fan. He does have upside but IMO I'd rather not bank on upside in the first 3 rounds.

It is bad enough to go off potential for a guy who only played one year when that one year came at a major university. It is worse when his only experience comes from a smaller school.

Teams are working him out at safety so fit that into the thinking of why the Cowboys are looking at him. If they want him they will need to get him with pick 27 or trade down a bit and get him there. Not thrilled with that idea. I'm beginning to think they feel like Wilcox has reached his ceiling and needs to be replaced.

This guy only played a year of CFB and was player of the year in his conference. Can you say "potential"? If you gamble on it and win, he's your Ed Reed for 10 years. If you're wrong, it's a wasted pick. I'm not convinced but I will hang up and listen.

I liked what i saw in the senior bowl,a DB who can track the ball in the air like a Wr and he can actually go up and catch it which is really rare in NFL DBs.

During NFL Network's coverage of the combine, NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock said Rollins' ball skills are "unreal," and also said he is "competitive, quick and tough." But that speed might mean Rollins only can be a nickel corner or even a safety.

Still, he has an intriguing upside -- and it's partly because of his inexperience.

"He's going to go higher than people think," said Mayock, who said he thinks Rollins will be a second- or third-round pick.

Actually Mike, I've seen quite a few people say he will go in the first round.

He does look like a safety. His tackling technique looks sound and he does go for his ints with ball at highest point. 7 interceptions in his first year back in football.

I'm sold on this guy. If you're a coach, you stand on the table and beg for this pick. I need a little more convincing for the pick at 27 though. But yeah, this is a special player. Tremendously coachable. Humble. "It's my ball" mentality. There is something here. A knack, a natural, a guy who can pick up what you're trying to tell him to do.
