I'm a fan of Rollins. Former basketball player who had a knack for steals. The guy has great size/athleticism combo, has a multi-sport history as a ballhawk, and I've heard is a heck of a hard worker & leader type.

I honestly don't think it's a coincidence he was such a prolific steals guy on the hard wood, then displayed tremendous ball skills on the field. I don't think he's extremely fast, but at 6'1 200 lbs. with turnover production ability & toughness, I think he'd make for a great FS in the near future. Sign me up at #60 if he's there.

After tossing and turning for several minutes, I'm content with this pick in the second round, but not the first. I don't want a project in the first round, and neither do any of the other teams. He may go before our pick in the second but so be it if so.

Today's mock:

1. Malcolm Brown DT
2. Quinten Rollins - FS
3. Jay Ajayi RB
4. Eric Rowe CB
5. Laurence Gibson OT
7. Derrick Malone LB
7. David Irving DT

I think each of those first four picks are optimistic, to varying degrees. I HIGHLY doubt Rowe is there in R2 let alone R4.

Yeah I've been hearing that about Rowe as well. I do think Ajayi could drop to the 3rd, and there are a few mocks out there with Brown falling to us, so I like that pick best of all.

Rollins has ball skills, good footwork and is extremely athletic.

His weaknesses besides inexperience are speed, technique, gambler and often gets turned around outside-in.

Some question his love for football because his first love is basketball.
