Along with the franchise QB and Franchise WR, and best CB and best DE for 4 games along with a bevy of other injuries. I'm astonished people look at what this team has dealt with and wonder why they aren't looking like a playoff team.

How do you trust a guy like Randle? They should've cut that moron last year and got someone who is reliable as a backup and re-signed DeMarco or drafted a RB in the draft. How about Jones? This front office should be embarrassed for believing in a first class idiot like Randle. Who said I'm expecting a starter at backup quarterback? How about just a guy who can win a ******* game? ONE GAME. ONE. That's all we need in a division. At this point give these bums away for free. That would be a great deal for us.

You thought he would have learned after Orton. You have to overpay to get a quality backup QB. They fell for Weeden because he was free and CLE stupidly drafted him in the first.

Murray was a perfect fit for this scheme and system. An absolute perfect fit. Even when we had scrubs on the offensive line he was productive. Unlike Randle's bum *** he never hesitated. He ran as hard as you'll ever see a back run. His pass protection. How difficult he was to bring down. How he wore on defenses. He gave us an indentity. Now that's gone.

I'm sensing that you're not a Joseph Randle fan...

Wow this is sad how desperate we're. Hoping a freaking PS player can save the day when McFadden inevitably gets hurt. Didn't draft a back, didn't re-sign DeMarco. We put our faith in Joseph ******* Randle. Unbelievable.

Great work from the FO. Exec of the year.

Terrell Watson is very intriguing. 6' 1, 242 LBS and is a physical runner. He has my vote.

LMAO you're definitely the sideline Hardy of this forum. All emotion, not much substance.

So let me get this straight, the Cowboys should have starter quality players at back-up QB, at #3 WR and now at the #3 RB position? You're living in a fantasy world.

Is there any room between "starter quality" and the garbage we have? I'd say they're sure is! I think 'competent' would fit right in there and I'd settle for that. A backup QB that can and will throw, a receiver or two who can, you know, catch the ball, and maybe a running back not prone to meltdown.

The Cowboys went into the season with Randle, McFadden and Dunbar. That should have and would have been more than enough. Dunbar went down for the year and Randle mind f***** himself out of a job. No team plans for that. There is no contingency.

Don't get me wrong, I would have liked to seen more talent brought in during the off season, but NO team is prepared to lose two of their top three running backs.

It's their fault they counted on this clown. Nobody knew him better than they did. They had more info than any of us on all of these guys and they failed, they failed to see them for the scrubs that they are.

And this season is wasted as a result of their mistakes.

You can thank GM Jerry Jones for that. He was talking about Randle being able to duplicate Murray's success before the season ended last year.

Hey..

Randle said there was still a lot of meat on the bone.

Guess he was wrong.

That was a terrible plan and many of us said the moment it emerged.

Randle was a backup with issues and McFadden was a basically a wash out.

No one knew what Randle was. He had never started. Being right in hindsight doesn't amount to much.

Like I said, I wanted someone else brought in too, but the combination of those three should have been enough.

they should have picked up ahmad bradshaw 2 weeks ago. the guy still runs harder than all of our backs combined. this front office is on a losing streak right now with all of their trades and slowness on this rb issue.

Being dumb enough to steal underwear wasn't enough to alert any body he's a mental midget. Our FO decided to ride that horse.

It wasn't hindsight. He never had the build or vision to be the lead back. He was a perfect backup.

Just like some coordinators aren't Head Coaches and some backup QBs will never be starters.

No he wasn't wrong, He just wasn't the one do do anything about it.

He was wrong because he didn't know from experience that not all runs are designed to be home runs. Turning no gains into positive yardage is just as important.

You guys were completely wrong about Randle.
