If correct, Seattle was dumb to make that condition.

Well it certainly isn't common. Don't know what their thought process was there. If they were getting ready to cut him, I could understand them thinking that the possibility of something is better than the certainty of nothing, but I never saw anything that indicated they were going to cut him.

"I do think if any time one of them has an injury or isn't 110 percent, then we'll see what Christine Michael has to bring to the table as well," Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Monday during a radio interview, per The Dallas Morning News...

IMO, this leaves a lot of room open for any of them to take a week off to get that extra 10%, whether or not they're even injured. Couple of subpar games in a row will probably do it. Even a single loss with a poor rushing output will probably do it.

We heard you had a hangnail last week and we really think it impacted your performance on the field. Why don't you take the week off and rest up.

I have said it since we signed him, he will take McFadden's spot. Whether it be due to injury or lack of production, I believe if he has a role this year, it will be in place of McFadden.

Dunbar is the one keeping the Cowboys from activating CM.

Blame Dunbar from surprising all of us and pretty much making himself invaluable in game 1.

Then they should put DMC on the bench for a game. If they're going to be dump passing to Randle and Dunbar and only give DMC a couple of touches per week, you aren't losing much to see if this guy can fulfill a role.

Murray averaged less than 3 yards a carry in Philly last year, so we can expect some tough going in the running game on Sunday. C-Mike would certainly come in handy, but at least McFadden can block for Tony.

Unless disgruntled posters in this thread are watching practice, no on knows how the kid is progressing... except for the Cowboy's brain trust.

Are you implying that the Cowboys coaching staff might know more about this situation than Zoners? That's a stretch!

Have those bozo's cut Dunbar yet like the majority here told them too? It makes no sense to keep that guy on the roster!

Dunbar seems to be more of a slot receiver than a RB. His skills seem to be more similar to Whitehead than the others RB's. So they could activate Micheal instead of Whitehead.

Well its great motivation both ways. The backs on the active list are motivated to
play well because their replacement is already on the team. Michael is motivated to get on the field and prove he is as good as he thinks he is.
