and several more teaching DBs not to look for the ball.

Quincy Carter, Dave Campo, Joey Galloway and Jackie Smith

Joey Galloway, especially because of the bone-headed trade GM Jerry made to get him, cost this franchise and should be considered. Our Mt. Flushmore has more than 4 heads, right?

What's it going to be then, eh?

Bobby Carpenter tops the list because he cost a first and did absolutely nothing.

And how about Claiborne who has cost more than a first and done equally zero?
WR Roy Williams because he cost so much to acquire.

Agree.

And Quincy because he had the physical talent to be a franchise QB but dbaged his way out of the league.

No, he didn't. He was ********.[/quote]

Chris Warren, Ryan Leaf, Mike Vanderjagt, Eddie George and last but not least Dwayne Goodrich.

Chris Warren????? He seemed to do well here in the role he had. Decent 3rd down option in Emmitt's later years.

Cris Brazzell WR should have been a CB. I think he knocked down more passes than most CB's on the team.
Carter, Hutch, Hambrick, Ryan Leaf...

Troy Hambrick emphasizes everything that comes to mind when I read this thread

I distinctly remember being in 3rd grade and my 7th grade brother telling me that it was okay that Emmitt was gone because T-Ham had more YPC than Emmitt did in 2001 and 2002, I think that's why I dislike him so much. I was conned into thinking that he would be better than Emmitt and was thoroughly disappointed. I guess the lesson is never listen to your older brother and don't get sucked in to a high YPC in limited carries.

I cant believe nobody has mentioned Deion yet. Just an absolute disgrace to have that self absorbed clown wear the Star.
Loved Deion. His "self absorbed" swagger it's part of what made him GOAT at his position.

He never lived up to his expectations based on his past performance in Seattle.

You mean a back that was on the downside of his career and really was only there to spell Emmitt when he needed a blow and production never took a huge dive. He barely had over 200 carries his 3 years but he was productive receiver considering they did not throw to the RB much during that time.

I guess you weren't around back then.
