This guy has #1 receiver potential in the NFL. 6-6" 230 pounds and runs a 4.5 forty. I'm telling you... You line this guy up on the opposite side of Dez and this offense will be damn scary.

Maybe we need a blocker. So that we can have a passer stand upright and get the ball to these scary WRs

The Cowboys already drafted Miles Austin's replacement.

If we draft a WR, it better be late and we need a receiver with good hands. Dez and Twill both struggle in this area with those quick slant routes. We only target Dez with the deep ball and back shoulder pass. Twill needs to continue improving in both route running and hand eye coordination, so he can be the complete receiver we want him to be.

Cowboys need to stop stock piling weapons on offence, it's not working. Murray, Witten, Bryant, Williams, Escobar, Randal, Harris and Beasley should be enough. More than a lot of teams have.

Why? The offensive line as a whole played better than the receivers did as a whole.

I just told you why. Think about it.

I just told you why a WR is needed more than the offensive line. The offensive line outplayed the receivers as a whole and they're most likely going to lose a starter. Think about it.

Think about this. In football you have (5) five offensive linemen and 2 WRs. Dallas has no backups worth didly if a starter goes down. Our guards are playing on one leg. We are stocked pretty good with Wrs and TEs and the 2nd team on the depth chart ain't that bad. You must be Jerry getting all excited about selecting a 1st round WR. Jerry?

Depends..are we talking about a 1st round pick or otherwise? Either way I'm not against bringing in more WR's. We need to get as many young guys on offense as possible under the leadership of Dez to cleanse the stench of the previous regime spearheaded by guys like Miles.

Did I ever say that I wanted to draft a WR in the first round? No. I'd rather go defense for the first three picks, heck maybe even first 4. But I know that if we sit on our hands and don't do anything about the WR position, we'll have only two WRs who can play on the outside, one slot receiver/special teamer that can stay healthy and a guy under 5'9. Not exactly a strength of our team. And talk about TEs all you want, but good luck stretching the field with Escobar and Witten.

As for the offensive line, you're not losing a starter there. You're probably not losing any backups either, in fact, there is a chance you'll be getting Waters back. There's a much better chance that a backup WR plays than a backup offensive lineman, but it seems to me like you want to spend the entire draft picking up linemen to play behind Tyron Smith. Fact of the matter is that if you go defense with the first couple picks, you're probably not going to find an offensive lineman that will come in and be good enough to contribute. You can probably find a WR in later rounds that can come in and give you a few good plays.

I'm not saying that we should ignore the offensive line, but the WR position is a bigger need with the (potential) loss of Austin than trying to add a backup to the fairly good offensive line we had last year. But by all means, continue to try and talk down to me by calling me Jerry. It's not strengthening your point.

If we draft a WR in the first 3-4 rounds, I will personally drive a silver and blue hummer through JJ's front yard, get out wearing a Star on my crotch, and shiny streamers on my nipples!!!

Brandon Coleman probably will be there in the 3rd rd maybe 2nd rd if his stock goes up. The way Jerry was talking about Alshon Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall after the Bears game I wouldn't be shocked if he tries to draft a big tall wr. The guy looks like he's gonna be a beast.

Get this team the best guard on our board after the 1st round. Find a couple WRs in the rookie free agency sweepstakes. I really think that is enough. And I really do see your point but disagree that WR takes precedence over the massive swiss cheese defense Kiffin ran last season. 2014 needs new faces on the dline, inside and outside. 2014 needs another linebacker taken in the draft and might as well get the safety that Jerry has not taken early. And like I said guard is a need. Our "new found offensive line" is not complete. It will be as good as it's weakest link in 2014. Maybe we land brandon in free agency.

If he's there in the 3rd I wouldn't be socked if we take him. Maybe we could trade around and get an extra 3rd rounder.
