Yes. McFadden is due for an injury around week 6-8 and Randle might get caught stealing something cheap and insignificant. Can't be too careful. I mean I don't have a 53 man roster projection but I'd like to keep all those guys unless it means cutting someone that can really contribute. If we have to cut a 3rd string corner that won't see the field then so be it.

Cut a 3rd string corner so we looking at Jones and Claiborne.......no thanks I rather not keep 6 RBs and cut a contributor

This is your thread title:

Is it more to this tweet because I don't see anywhere that Stephen is talking about the RB position.

Maybe he's talking about the QB position.

So carry 6 backs including a fullback?

Really
That's not happening
Neither show much as special teams stars anyway
Unless there is an injury I think they have the rb's they plan on starting the season with
They say something like this every camp
If someone becomes available that can help you then you make a move
I could see us making a move, but I don't think it's going to be at RB unless someone much better than what's out there hits the market and it's not likely going to be by trade

Of course they're not, they have the worst RB corps in the league on paper.

I wouldn't be shocked if we went into the season with our current group but also if someone becomes available via trade like rolando did last year I can see us doing it

Many of us have said all along; For now, they are happy with their backs, but if they get into camp and preseason games or if there's an injury, they obviously reserve the right to go find help.

Can you direct me to a positive post you've ever had about the Cowboys? You spent the whole 2014 season dogging on Romo and the team, didn't seem to think Murray was much until he left, and constantly complain about every aspect of the team. Why do you waste so much of your time on something you so obviously hate? I mean I can understand some skepticism here but you hate everything and everyone associated with the team.

Ouch. You just put him on front street.

well that was remarkable and stuff as far as logicality.

Sorry you can't follow the logical steps of your own post?

To think that Murray was going to somehow magically pick up where he left off and even come close to repeating last year given his history, and the wear and tear he took last year, is a fools game.

I loved what Murray did last year as much as the next fan, but this year whether it was with Dallas or Philadelphia there will more than likely be a relatively large drop off (league and his own history shows that).

Drop off to what? Murray was always been a productive back. Even without this all pro oline we got now. I would still take Murray in a heartbeat over any of the other backs we got now. At least he's been productive throughout the time he's been in Dallas.

I'm against cutting a cornerback for any reason.

Uh ah ah ah ah.

Thats what I was saying. I rather not keep 6 RBs if it means cutting our 3rd string corners. Scandrick, Carr, Jones, Claiborne, Patmon and White are all needed more so then 6 RBs
