And the depressing thing is that "best chance" was no chance at all. We got curb stomped at home in the first round of the playoffs. That's how good we are. At our *best*.

With a more talented team in extremely good health. We likely won’t see that good fortune again for several years at least.

    I will just say
    1. lost A Coop and his stunning 869 yards per season
    2. lost Collins and his suspensions and scandals
3 lost Gregory (Who I liked) and his Mental and Weed issues

    1. Cee Dee can easily replace amari's paltry contributions
    2. Anyone with a pulse or Rookie can replace Collins. Best ability is Availability
    3. Fowler can give Us what Randy did. Randy felt disrespected by the FO and that is that

All the hand wringing a calamity calls, come on girls your slips are showing I don't care how tough you sound

Especially those KIttens over at the Landry Hat

agree. This grade is like a draft grade. We’ve seen “A”s given to teams on draft days but we never see retractions on those grades after those players bust. I don’t disagree with people here that don’t like the moves so far but I’m willing to wait and see…..and then hammer them like chopped meat later

a strong argument for all of this. Hopefully CeeDee can actually be a true #1. If so, it bodes well

Why would you rate anything when its 1/3 over?

But if I had to rate the first 1/3 of the offseason it would be a straight B.

See, thats your problem right there. You DONT have to add pieces to get better. This is the problem with some posters, they dont understand football.

Cooper has already been replaced with Lamb. We replaced him 2 years ago. Its perfect timing.

We did sign another DE and then we haven't had the draft yet. I am willing to bet we get one in the first two rounds.

Nothing you said here made any sense at all.

Losing Gregory isnt really that big of a deal. Losing Lawrence would have been worse. I agree losing Joseph would really suck.

Losing Collins is no loss at all. Steele is as good with more upside. 15 million saved makes the team better. Cooper was a luxury we didnt need. `100% the right call. Money will be better spent elsewhere.

They cut some talent, that is correct, but it feels like they truly believe in some of their young players. If these kids play to their potential we will be fine. Take the best oline or DT at 24. Continue to pack the defensive line during the draft and hope we find a true FS. The honey badger is still available. He would bring the much coveted "leadership" to the secondary.

F to the Bleacher Report for thinking Moore coming back is a win.

Other than Jerry, my money is on Philbin as the biggest anchor holding the team back last year.

Everyone was healthy for the playoffs. And still bleh. Even had a productive gimmick blocker in McGovern.

And now we've driven off Collins to play the T That Philbin Built with no Ts behind the starters.

Huh ? Without adding Charles Haley, Novack you think we win a super bowl in 92 ?
You think we beat SF in the 1992 NFC Champ Game without the addition of players we didn't draft such as Haley, Novack and others ? Doubtful. To play with the top tier teams you need an edge, we don't have one. I'd go watch the 1992 NFC Champ game and see if it makes sense.

The draft is the most important part of the off season and FA is not over. There will be even more players cut after the draft and there are still decent additions out there now

As Kurt Warner pointed out, Dak had plenty of WRs running around open. It’s not Moore’s fault Dak can’t go through his progressions.
