Notice a pattern to the Losses? The Cowboys scored 17 points or less in all of the losses and more than 17 points in all of the wins. Oddly they scored exactly 17 in the 1st three losses. They had to go to overtime in their lowest scoring win with 20 points.

The offense is stacked, the defense not so much so it's up to the vaunted offense to produce.. We knew this coming into the season....

I think the average points scored by the winning team in the NFL is now in the upper twenties.

The lowest points per game team this year is Oakland at 14. Only the Jets, Jaguars and Raiders average less than 17 points per game. I understand what you are saying, but not many teams score less than 20 per game. If the defense holds it down below 20, this offense has ZERO excuse.

Averages to not apply to individual games.

You're right. And they kept a few teams under 20. In today's NFL, if you keep another team from scoring 20 or more points, your defense did its job. When I start seeing a bunch of scores over 24, though, it gets worrisome.
