Too early for that but they have the makings of being one of the best if not the best. This is a young group who are not playing like they lack experience. Fredrick in his 2nd year and Martin in his 1st do not looked overwhelmed in the least and seem to be able to handle anything thrown at them. I think this group as they continue to gel with each other will only get better.

The 91-95' oline was the back bone of a 3x Super Bowl winning team, which can boast on it's resume that they had a 4x NFL leading rusher and one of the fewest total QB sacks allowed during that 5 year span. I think we should wait a bit longer than 5 games before we compare.

I don't want to bring you back down to earth, but it wouldn't hurt to get your head out of the clouds. It is a very good OL, but our 90s OL was a monster, and no one is going to side with you on this one.

This reminds me of a couple of reality shows my family watches each week on TV. There's no telling how many times you hear them say this is "the best season ever" or "best .... ever," which obviously is either an exaggeration on their parts or they have no long-term memory.

No, I think Hostile did a great thread on just how good Jim Brown was during that season and his yardage total was through 5 games. Check it out, it's really good.

Tui, Larry, Step, Newton, Williams. That's the best OL ever IMO. This OL has a long way to go and a lot of skins to nail up before you can say they are the best ever. Still in all, I'm really happy to see them on a path to start buying nails and hammers for the journey.

I agree with you and watched everything they did.......but, that line did not lead any RB to tie the great Jim Brown........just saying Hos........think about that a min? Wow.......this line has played together 6 games Hos.

Did you even see the O-line in the early through mid 90's play?
That line was a monster. This is a damn good one, and maybe one day we could really compare it to the 90's one, but right now the 90's one wins hands down.

The 4 guys on the left side of the OL are arguably as good as the 4 guys on the left side of the OL in 1992, 1993, but those teams had Erik Williams at RT and this team has Doug Free.
During those 2 years and the beginning of 1994 (before the car wreck) Erik Williams was as dominant as it gets for an OLineman.
