Well, I hope the eagles oline is in good shape because if they have to run little Chip's fast offense, if they have to stay on the field to help block for a QB that sucks...good for them.

Eagles loss of their guards is going to be a problem for them IMO.

I can't wait to see Hardy/Crawford rushing from inside on them.

If they still had their OG they lost, it'd be a comparable line. We'd still be quite a bit better cumulatively, but it'd be comparable. They have a good OL, but it ain't Dallas.

I'm anxious to see how the Packers line progresses. I think they were the best pass blocking OL in the league last season.

I said the group was significantly better. I didn't say each player was significantly better than their counterparts.

Actually you did say that. And I quote "significantly better on all interior positions".

ESPN recently claimed the Eagle have a top 5 OLine.

Maybe even at LT but Peters is getting old.
Eagles better at RT.
Cowboys significantly better on all interior positions.
Cowboys with better backups.

Eagles
Jason Peters 7x Pro Bowl, 6x All Pro, Age 33
Allen Barbre 8 games started in 8 year career.
Jason Kelce Pro Bowl 2014, has played 4 years.
Matt Tobin UDFA 2013, 7 games started
Lane Johnson 1st round pick, has played 2 years.

Top Backups
Andrew Gardner 8 starts in 5 seasons, cut by 4 other teams
Dennis Kelly 10 starts in 3 seasons, 5th round pick
David Molk Undersized 7th round pick by SD, but after 1 year
John Moffitt 3rd round pick by Seattle, traded for player that was cut after 3 weeks. Retired in 2013. Signed with the Eagles in 2015.

Cowboys
Tyron Smith 2x All Pro, 2x Pro Bowl
Ron Leary 33 games started, shut down JJ Watt
Travis Frederick 1x All Pro, 1x Pro Bowl
Zack Martin Pro Bowl and All Pro as a rookie
Doug Free I've heard he is a good golfer.

Top Backups
La'el Collins Projected 1st round pick in 2015 draft
Mackenzy Bernadeau 48 games started
Darrion Weems Developmental player in 2012, 2013, IR 2014
Your analysis is too subjective and inconsistent here. Although you might be right, saying things like Leary shut down JJ Watt without providing any of that for the Eagles sounds pretty homerish.

The OTs and C positions are basically a wash. With the Eagles losing both Mathis and Herramens and not really replacing that talent, the Cowboys hold the advantage at those 2 spots.

I think the argument can easily be made that Dallas' interior OL is significantly better than Philadelphia's, position by position. Really, the only question at all in my mind, at any of the five OL spots, is Johnson vs Free, and those two are very close.

That's fine. And I don't necessarily disagree. I was just commenting on @xwalker's back tracking.

Look... our O-line is clearly better. Peters saying theirs is better meant nothing more than RG3 recently saying he's the best quarterback in the league. We literally have a better player at every position on the o-line. The closest is left tackle but I'd still take Tyron over Peters any day of the week.

There is not a starter on the eagles offensive line that could start for the Cowboys...

Unless you move Peters over to the right side to replace Free.

Probably a biased but honest look:

LT = wash (though only an idiot would take a guy that's almost 10 years older, so...)

LG= win big DAL. Leary is only considered a weakness on this line... Still a fringe top 10 LG. We're just too spoiled to realize it.

C= slight win DAL. Kelce is more athletic and is also technically refined, but Frederick seems to be a better in actual game performances and better physically built for the position. Probably smarter too.

RG= incomprehensible win DAL. No more needed.

RT= Eagles. Clearly. But honestly who cares if since LJ will likely be moved to tackle soon (where he will be inferior to Smith... And actually older too!) whoever replaces him will likely be inferior to Collins too.

Their guard situation is poor considering Bernadeau is better than their starters.

This is a message board. I'm not writing a newspaper article. I listed what I know about each player. The Eagle's Guards have not played enough to have much information about them.

The idea of a message board is for other people to add anything they know to the conversation. If you want to go back and review the Eagles current Guards in the few games they played, then go for it.

I don't know that the Eagles have a top notched offensive line, but they will be functional and will have as a team, a lot of offensive strength.

Don't snooze at all, on that team.

As to the offensive line for Dallas, they have a ton of talent that will only get better with time together. Free isn't an All Pro, but his experienced leadership will greatly help in the forging of a coordinated offensive line. That counts also.
