Our options may be wide open but I'd rather see our receivers get wide open. It seems other teams have a much easier time at this.

Pryor will absolutely get more than Williams. Pryor is viewed as a potential #1 guy as he continues to learn to play the WR position.

I have no issues with Williams but he's likely going to get overpaid for what he is.
Exactly, they will both be over-priced
7-8m for TWill and CLE might just tag Pryor at 14m.......they have 106m in space

I would keep Butler for continuity at 2-3m a year and draft a WR early....it is a great class for WRs

Laraunt Robinson could've still been here, and having a nice career..........
Not even close. His concussion issue wouldn't have magically got better because he was wearing a Star. After he left the Cowboys he only lasted 1 year........
He signed a five-year, $32.5 million contract in which 14 million was guaranteed, with the Jacksonville Jaguars on March 14, 2012. Although he was expected to be the team's number 1 receiver, he failed to impress before being placed on the injured reserve list on November 21 after suffering 4 concussions in one season. Robinson was seen as a health risk and was released on March 13, 2013.

When Beasley takes over a game like Dez did to GB these past playoffs let me know. Hate on Dez all you want doesn't stop the fact he is a number 1 wr and dominates
I dont hate dez, I just dont idolize him or any of the players.
I like some more than others, but I will criticize any of them or praise any of them.

he is a number 1 wr ....... what is your definition of that?
and dominates......... wow you do idolize him, that is a big pedestal you have put him up on. lol
In your eyes dez can do no wrong, just different shades of greatness lol.

I mean dez play decent this past season, at times pretty good, but he isnt worth the amount of money they are paying him.
The issue is he is the 2nd highest salary behind romo, and when romo goes , dez will have the biggest salary on the team,
biggest contract, and is paid more than most other WR in the nfl, and paid more than many who have outplayed him the last
2 years.
He needs to do more or cowboys may decide to cut him to unload his big contract.

Brown, Julio, green, Jeffery all average more a year then Dez. Odell is still on his rookie deal so you should fact check before throwing things out there. I don't idolize Dez but yes he dominates games at certain times. He was much better the 2nd half of the season because he was 100 percent healthy finally.

You have lost your mind if you think Dez is getting cut

In sure that's the only reason Williams will get paid. Maybe it's because he has skills and the people making the decision don't hate and have an agenda

I'm not implying anything about TWill. Just stating what he'll cost and letting everyone device on their own if that's too much.

Those who say sign him for 5M a year are delusional.

Well if I had said last summer that Romo would be getting cut in 2017 you would have said same thing.
Dez was better, but still not playing up to what he was paid to do.

Dallas is I think happy with who they have at WR so they probably keep TW and butler.
The logic being they were 13-3 with them so why change?

Actually I wouldn't have said that. Romo can't stay healthy and is on the down slide.

You clearly don't like Dez so I'm not going to continue going in circles. Good day to you sir

Just say no to TWill.

I'd like to add a veteran that just runs solid routes and doesn't drop the ball, but I'm not sure that opportunity will come.

In that case, re-sign Butler for peanuts, draft a guy in the 3-4 round, and get Dak's college buddy Ross later in the draft.

We still have Zeke, Dez, Witten, and Beasley.

No pressure here. A ton of #2 guys in the draft.

We're good.
twill is fine for 5-6 good plays a year. maybe 1 or 2 great ones.

just not enough for #2. players/wr's like him are all over the place looking for new teams also.

I give Dez next year to show he still has it. He'll have a full offseason with Dak, he'll be healthy, and our schedule has the most brutal dbs he's probably ever gone against. NFC west/afc west. We will know about Dez this year. With everything I mentioned above along with Chris Carter disrespecting him, if he doesn't ball out next year on a consistent level then he'll never be what some of us thought he would. He still has time, he's in his prime these next 2-3 years.

I agree, he needs to show some better play next year , and up his production.
Many players get paid and then never produce at the same level again, for a variety of reasons.
With Dez he did have the injury, which was partly his fault, then no romo for 2015, then again for 2016 and from now on.
He has Dak , and Dak has other guys he seems to like more than dez.

Before if tony say single on dez he just threw one up, a jump ball type, they had that down, but that isnt working with dak.
If Romo was still QB dez would get more targets, so he may not be as productive without tony.

Any chance we can sign Terrell Pryor? He was a beast in Cleveland last season and would certainly bring a true threat opposite Dez.
