I only got to see the first half of the game yesterday. The Cowboys seem to have turned around they way the defense was playing in the first half, but what I did notice is that the Cowboys couldn't seem to get any pressure with a four man rush. This obviously included Ware and Ellis. While I think the Cowboys are a good team, they arn't playing like a team that will go far into the playoffs. I'm worried about the consistency of the defense.

Dallas was trying to keep Young contained not chase him around, Young has too much athletic ability to let him start running around. Dallas maintained the outside containment and the middle rushing lanes. Dallas D did exactly what they wanted to do and needed to do. Only way Young was going to have a big day is by allowing him to run around, we did not do that!

It pains me to say it but Ware just appears too pacive out there. Yesterday was a game he should have dominated. If he plays well against the beagles....all is forgiven though.

I agree, the only way we would lose that game is if V Young ran wild on us. Parcells played it safe and took that away. Also, Young was taking snaps in shotgun and he was playing real deep in the pocket, i dont recall seeing qb's sit back that deep behind the OLine too many times.

We will see a different plan for the eagles. no way they let McNabb sit back there, the key to frustarting him is to bring pressure.

You got to be kidding Ware did what the team expected not allow Young to the outside. This ideal that we were going to rush Young is not reality. Dallas staff knew Young is not a guy who is comfortable in a pocket and the only way he makes big plays is by running around. Dallas did not let Young to that, we kept him out of his comfort zone.

 Keep saying that. Ignore the way we were playing along the Dline.

I agree McNabb is different than Young and can work from a pocket, we will not allow him to sit back there. Young it was a no brainer or at least for some of us to know the best way to stop Young was to force him to do what he did not want to do and take away what he does best.

Exactly right Doomsday. For once I agree with Parcells' conservative approach as it was the right move in this game against this RB... er QB.

It is also the best way to beat Vick.

You guys are lost see we where just using this defense as a pratice so if we see the ATL in the playoffs we roll them because Vick is a rb playing QB
