It just makes me so upset to see this team do the same thing week after week and the coach has brainwashed the media, players, and some of the fans into thinking that they just need to play better and all will be right.

This team is being put in a position to fail and until that gets cleared up we will not win consistently.

If there's one thing the drivers of the Team Garrett bus were right about is that he is phenomenal politician. Unfortunately that does nothing for your on the field product. Maybe if he actually learned to delegate he could get away with it, but he can't do that.

I don't get this huge thirst for turnovers as if that'd solve the problems of this team. What are we going to do with them exactly? We can barely get 1st downs. All we'd end up doing is kicking more field goals, if that.

It's just another excuse.

He finagled his way in to the HC position when Wade's team folded.

Even though he was an instrumental part of that failure.

He looks, talks and acts like that kid in school that was the teacher's snitch and would get everyone in trouble to stay in favor with the teacher.

Reminds of this kid...

It's no wonder that most of the players lack accountability, when the HC refuses to own up to anything.

There is a purpose built structure from the top down that cleanly sheds any amount of accountability. From Jerry on down, really no one is accountable for anything. Its just a circus that makes a lot of money and is relevant enough to have some sizzle. Sure the yearly scape goat coach is trotted out each offseason but thats just a revolving door of Star Trek Redshirt guys.

Dez: This season "has been real tough. But at the same time, I still feel good. I know it sounds crazy, but I still feel good about it."

And that's what is wrong with this team. Accepting, even embracing "morale victories" has been the battle cry for far too many seasons now. Everyone on this team should be embarrassed and angry starting with our delusional Owner/GM and our Head RedHeaded Cheerleader!!!!

I'm lucky (I'm old) I got to watch and root for the GREAT Cowboy teams and legends over the years. Now that we have hit rock bottom, I can only hope that not only will Jerry Jones re-start this team and coaching staff, but start it the right way!!!

Shades of if this is the worst thing that happens to him he has had a pretty good life.

Isn't that what fans here wanted though? They didn't want the angry Dez who would 'throw tantrums.' Instead, Dez has settled in with the Dallas apathy that pervades all long timers here. They can smile when losing or look nonchalant. Better that than 'disrupting the locker room' right? If you look at Dez now, it seems like a lot of that fire he used to have is gone.

I pointed this out as well. I've always been fine with Dez's competitive fire and emotion. Sometimes the situation calls for players like Dez to raise their voice. Most good teams usually have a few vocal leaders who aren't afraid to air out the team when they are underperforming.

Aikman did it. Irvin did it. Haley did it. Tom Brady does it regularly.

Yet for some reason whenever Dez does it it's frowned upon. I guess they'd prefer that it come from our team "leaders", Romo, Witten, and Garrett. Those 3 guys are lead by example guys. There's nothing wrong with that leadership style, but sometimes just leading by example doesn't work. There are occasions when you need to raise your voice to let all parties know that what they're doing or not doing is unacceptable.

Unfortunately whenever one of our guys tries to step into that role and provide some vocal leadership they get shouted down by the media, and the following day first 20 minutes of every ESPN show is spent breaking down Player X's "meltdown" and denouncing him for it.

Meanwhile that same afternoon Tom Brady has a similar "meltdown" with his teammates and not a word is said about it. Because when he does it it's "leadership".

The fans can think about tanking but the players are playing like they are tanking Barry.
