Will be 27 years old with back issues , and on the red list(for performance drugs). No thanks use the money on a high character guy with NO injury history. We are 3-1 without him and went 12-4 in 2014 without him for the majority of the season. He isn't a cornerstone player. You pay high character guys like Byron jones , Martin , Frederick etc.

I like Lawrence. That isn't an issue but I don't like him @8-11 million a year. Use him up these next 2 seasons.

He's 24 now, he will 26 in 2018. We have no idea if his back problems will linger, you are speculating. And it's hilarious to me, because you have a guy who has a bum knee and a nerve that has yet to fire as your profile picture.

And character issues? Lawrence has character issues now, because of a misunderstanding with medication he needed to take for his back? Now he's suddenly a Rolando McClain and Randy Gregory?

Also, yeah, we're totally winning games against dominate QBs such as Cousins, Hoyer, and Gabbert. No need for the only guy who was consistently getting pressure on the QB in 2015...because reasons.

Please, stop talking nonsense. I really don't care if you like him or not, just don't talk nonsense.

All of our injuries makes our 3-1 start more impressive even if we account for playing bad teams.

But now is the time to get on the mend.

Time to put our shiny new health facilities to good use.
Shiny new health facilities with no MRI machine, I believe.

He isn't worth re-signing for the price he'll command. End of story.

And yes I'd take a 20 year old jaylon smiths upside over Lawrence anyday. I'm rooting for the kid his attitude amazes me and I root for the kid as a person. Again end of story. We'll see what the GM decides with Lawrence . Until then peace.

You don't know the price he'll command and you don't know how he'll play this season or next season. If he's getting us, consistently, 8-12 sacks while being the only player worth a damn on the line, he's worth the money. I feel too many of you quickly jump to the "Cut him!/Let him walk!" with players without understanding the reality of the NFL. Finding good young DEs isn't easy, you're basically wanting us to either overspend on a DE that never played here in FA, go cheap and cross your fingers with a DE, or draft a rookie and have to wait and develop them just like we did with Lawrence.

And again, argue about letting him walk. But this crap that he has some character issue is just that, crap. Did you even read up on why he was suspended? There is a reason he tried his best to appeal it, this is not similar to the Gregory situation.

I get sick of all the complaining about Crawford's contract. They bet on a player for FUTURE PERFORMANCE, not paying based on the past reputation like a lot of you complain about. They gambled and may have lost. Or they might win big. They did what they were supposed to do.

Looking at the DT market, we didn't really overpay Crawford by that much. The drop off between elite tier to the tier Crawford in is quite a lot and some of these young stud DTs that will be getting their new contracts, like Donald, is going to blow the DT market up.

Crawford's contract will look like pennies in comparison.

If D-Law is worth $80m then Zack Martin is worth 1 billion dollars.

But seriously, he's gonna demand a lot but we absolutely have to resign him first before anyone else coming off rookie deals. But seeing what D-Law does when he returns this season will change his value for the good or better.
I think the Tyron Smith contract gives us a framework we will stay within. It will be up to Zach to stay or try to break the bank. Bottom line is the NFL doesn't spend mad money on guards, not even the very best guards.

Well the facility isn't finished yet. They keep showing the shiny part that is open for business, but supposedly there is a lot of work to be done yet. The medical facility will be state-of-the-art in collaboration with a medical school (Baylor?) so there will be more than adequate MRI equipment.

Ok. I was just going off what was said on why Bryant missed his knee appointment and was wondering why a facility did not have MRI machine. This explains it.

I fear we will be 3-4 before you know it. The Bengals might be the best chance of the next 3.

I will say this right now. Do not re-sign Dlaw. Yes he's a good player but he's one hit away from a 10 game suspension, and he's already having back problems. Use him up next year and let someone else pay him 80 million. He isn't worth it.

Oh, don't join the Army...I heard that it could be dangerous.
