with brad sham live on cowboys

team charter arrived back home, and players came in at noon today for mandatory run and meetings then they got the afternoon off

wade with media;
we had some guys that played asttounding, stands out how many guys contributed something, canty tipped a ball, tank tacked a guy for loss, scandrick made a play, jenkins, roy williams made some plays, just goes right down the line, like materlus bennett made a play, but you stilll have to have guys to come through

obviously terrance came through and met the challenge, big playes in the game, ratliff had 2 sacks and hurries, these guys played well, bowman made a play,

demarcus played well and bradie played well lots of tackles

kosier and leondard davis played well

of couse what can you say about marion barber, he scores a touchdown, and controlled the ball

i thought tony played an efficent game; even though we got behind dont think it bothered anybody, and it affects other team, and tony fires up the team with his tempo,

sometimes you dont see what or how tony affects the game that you dont see, and his calls, and he changed some calls, and great to have him back, and we could see it with our team and our defense

urgency and must win, thats the way it was last week, and thats what you want, this next game too, must be that way, i think we will play well at home and looking forward to the game, and everything must be urgent

i try to be honest with the players, and have the right attitude, we want to make sure this doenst happen to us again, wiht not having right attitude

we feel we are a physical football team anyway, and if we think we have to play that type of game we will and it gives you confidence

i see him close on games for us, but when you give barber the ball on every play and we all knew it, that every first down took us closer to winning the game

on 4th down call, the 3rd down, what is going to happen, to be in right situation, we knew we were going to run it, and take timme all the way down and call time out, didnt know what if we would lose yards, or make yards

then when got down to 4th down with time out, we discussed it with jason garrett and feel we had a run to make first down, or kick field goal into the wind, and we had trouble pre game on field goal attempts, and last timme we kicked into the wind, we only got it to the 15 yard line, so we felt we had play to do it and we did

we lined up with the reskins inside and we felt we had the play

we talked about last week with terrance, we played more man and we challenged our guys to play more man, and we challenged newmaon on a great wr

scandrick played all the sub stuff, and you just dont know how they are going to play till they play it enough, and then we had pacman we didnt get to work with newman wiht adam when he was out

i havent had that many outstanding man to man players, that could do that, we felt terrance could do that, and we got down to 2 corners last year,

im not sure if he just got tired, newman he wasnt hurt

we felt we had to keep him for beating us, and we did it with burress week before on containing moss

spencer and ellis quesiton;
well spencer played more 1st and 2nd downs, and ellis played more 3rd down, although thought our inside backers played well of the group

when you go no sacks, and a great running game and no matteer what you say i think the qb makes the difference and gives our guys confidence

tony came out fine after game as far as injury wise

he was into the game and romo talked to the defensive players nad some guys do those things and it was positive for us,

you say no, but thats same thing with players, is this you know till the last game and everything riding, you say your not, difference levels of every game and you try to coaching wise to be prepared in every game as far as urgency

i thought we were strong footbll team and i wont say we dominated but we outplayed the other team

we won last 2 out of 3 now,

coaching staff more focused, i try to be more focused and you try to coahc same way, and like you tell the players, you want to be that wy

i dont know, i think we work hard and try to get ready every week,a dn its d... important to me

swagger question;
confidence going into the game is how i define swagger, i feel that way, but the players wiht the qb coming back, you always feel your going to win, but uh, the confidence helps wiht certain teams

special teams question; our puint coverage and crayton did a good job;
our kickoff coverage was bad, and we got to place the ball better, suppose to kick it to right and it went down to the middle, still a concern, their kickoff coverage did well and we didnt block so we will address that

no not really, you know qbs they, are different makes in the league, adn new england isnt as good as they were last year, any team that has a top qb not playing for you is going to make it tougher

another week for romo for his finger, splint on for one more week, only a couple more games since 2 games in 10 days;

we had couple of guys cramp up, but briefly, we had few minors things we will check on today

practice on wed, i dont know that, suppose to hav it checked today on felix i think

ratliff, you say every player should be like that, but he hsa ability and real kncack to get to the football, he can rush the passer, dont know if i have had a nt that has 6 sacks already, and he hustles every play, obviously undersized, but he makes plays

ratliff as an end? yeah we tried to work it some this year, i think he would be good anywhere he plays, but he gives you that inside pass rush that is hard to get, with our 2 outside rushers he is beter for us at nt

having kosiers back with cohevinesss helped

romo, witten, roy, to on same side, as we go on, we can get a feel for what we can do, will give teams problems, we smoked it out to roy one time and he made 10 yards

1st possession by tony,he threw it behind him, he tried to throw it around a defnesve linemen i think that was the problem

we go for it on 4th down and make it, adn we ran some to the left, those 2 guys are big powerful guys, usually your right side thats what you want isince most teams are right handed,

with kosier, helped and everyone stepped up
marion unbelievable, and we had 2 weeks to prepare and this is one of best run defenses in the league

offensive linemens dream to run at the end of the game, going for it on 4th down, and marion on pitch, i thought he would be running all the way to the endzone

we were prepared for this game didnt matter what they did,

It was pretty cool when they asked him about playing a corner on one WR all game, and he said he wasn't against doing it, but he just hadn't had that many corners over the years who were capable of doing that.

Pretty good endorsement of TN considering how long Wade's been in the game and how many good defenses he's coached.

And man, Wade sounded totally exhausted today. Whoever our next coach is, I think it needs to be someone significantly younger than Wade and Parcells. There's just too much pressure and too many demands in this job for someone 60 years old.

Pretty good endorsement of TN considering how long Wade's been in the game and how many good defenses he's coached.

After watching him cover Moss on the long pass from Campbell, I may have to reconsider my position that Owens is the fastest player we have. Once Newman saw the long pass coming, he caught up to a very fast Santana Moss with relative ease.

yep, newman ran the 40 like 4.27 coming out of college i think,

and yessssssss i totally agree with you about a younger head coach, you can see wade is drained after a game,

im not knocking wade mind you here, but he is drained, like parcells said, and he is older than wade, parcells would spend after a loss until way late in the hours in the morning before a press conference on mondays, but wade you can tell looks drained, does he have the energy to do the full job he needs to do,

a head coaches job is a young mans game, average about 40 to 55, thats to me, where the head coach energy level is, when he gets 60, his energy level get down,
