There was a thread over the weekend on CPND where a Skins fan was asking about what all Cowboys QBs have beaten the Skins. So I did some research and posted it over there. I do think that this list of QBs will be enjoyable to read.

This may not be every Dallas QB that has beaten Washington, but I think it is close... This goes in backwards order, so if there are more than one entry for a season, then the top one is the second meeting. Also, there are a couple games that I could find the final score, but couldn't 100% determine the starting QB. If anybody finds something that is incorrect, let me know.

2006 - Drew Bledsoe
2004 - Vinnie Testeverde (twice)
2003 - Quincy Carter (twice)
2002 - Chad Hutchinson
2001 - Quincy Carter
2001 - Anthony Wright
2000 - Troy Aikman *suffered concussion that ended career - Randall finished
2000 - Randall Cunningham
1999 - Troy Aikman (twice)
1998 - Troy Aikman
1998 - Jason Garrett
1997 - Troy Aikman
1996 - Troy Aikman
1994 - Troy Aikman (twice) - injured in one game insert Rodney Peete
1993 - Troy Aikman
1992 - Troy Aikman
1991 - Troy Aikman - injured insert Steve Beuerlein
1990 - Troy Aikman
1989 - Steve Walsh - **the only win of the year for Dallas
1988 - Steve Pelluer
1986 - Steve Pelluer
1985 - Gary Hogeboom (not 100% sure he started this one)
1985 - Danny White
1983 - Danny White
1982 - Danny White
1981 - Danny White (twice)
1980 - Danny White (twice)
1979 - Roger Staubach

5 different QB's in 8 wins since 2001.

Make that 6 in 9 wins and add Romo's name to that list after this week baby!

I'm pretty sure it was Steve Buerline, not Steve Walsh.

No... it was Walsh... he was in for Aikman that year when he was out with the broken finger...

It was our only win of the season...

So by this count they've swept us 6 times and we've swept them 15 times. Nice.

1964 - Can't tell who the QB was

It was most likely Meredith but he did miss two games that year so it might have been John Roach.

We beat the Commanders in week-2 and lost to them in week-11. I remember that Meredith was hurting for most of the year and missed a couple of games later in the season so I would think he was the QB in week-2 when we won. Of course it was only 42 years ago so my memory might be a bit faulty.

so basically what you're saying is that EVERY player who has played QB for Dallas has beaten the racial slurs...even Quincy, Hutchinson, Ceptaverde, Cunningham, Walsh, and Anthony Wright.
That is pretty amazing!

Wow, props to you Thumper!
Made me feel like a young whippersnapper since I can only recall The Roger and Danny White days.
You just made my whole night, thanks!:laugh2:

Who doesnt know that was Steve Walsh? Beuerline was with the Raiders that year!!! You should edit that before others see and mistake u for a Skins fan!!!

That Walsh pick in the suplemental draft that year kind of goes unnoticed because of the Herchell Walker trade, but didn't the Saints give us some pretty good draft picks for Walsh?

In 2000, it was Anthony Wright that came in after Aikman suffered his career ending concussion. Cunningham was nursing some injuries of his own.
