That's pretty fast company between those three. The main thing lacking in Tony's case was playoff wins. However, there's a case to be made in terms of overall team support in his defense. We were really fortunate to have all three of them as our QBs, though. There's no doubt about that.

And they were all great guys too. You can add Dandy Don, Danny and Dak too. We've been lucky at the QB position. They all carried themselves well.

True.
Very fast company. Two HOFers.
As far as playoffs...I think its clear that if Tony had Troy and Rodger's teams than he would have a TON of playoff wins....and far less injuries too
Probably a few rings too...but that's speculation.

We were lucky to have those guys.

I'm a little surprised Danny White's not on the list.

Danny White was 62-32 as a starter (5-5 in the playoffs)

Strike shortened seasons, a wrist injury and Landry's fascination with Gary Hogeboom attributed to
less opportunities for adding to the win column.

Personally, I liked White as our QB. Plus, I always thought it was cool that he was our punter too.

Two different eras. Had Troy and the previous QBs had the WCO around to open up defenses, not to mention the tightened passing rules, and most of all todays QB protection from getting drilled., they would have had astronomical #s

White belongs ahead of the Romo. But I'll give him 4th.

Dak already has close 20% the number of wins as Tony. Can he keep that pace up? If he comes close we are in for a treat the next few years. And people think we're obnoxious now, just wait. They'll really hate us if Dak comes close to living up to the hype. Lol

That's the 3 best QBs. Almost in order if you switch Troy and Roger
I put Roger ahead based on mobility and leadership intangibles. In terms of passing ability (mainly accuracy) I give it to Troy all day. His passing accuracy was other worldly and as great as Roger was (he's my fave all time Cowboy and why I became a fan), I think he'd even agree with that assessment.

Troy was perfect QB for our 90's Dynasty, his leadership amazingly enough is underrated. And this is coming from a die hard Staubach fan and a guy who wanted to trade Troy for Elway early on.

Pretty sure Aikman is like 3rd all time in post season QB rating as well.

He's been slighted so much since winning those 3 rings that he's actually become underrated. We don't have those Super Bowl wins without Troy. The dude was flawless on those runs, people forget...

From 91-95, there wasn't a better QB in the NFL imo, certainly not in the NFC. You could even say the same thing about Michael Irvin as a WR.

They weren't called the Triplets because they were just a great trio, they were the standard at their respective positions.
