Saying that you're having a difficult time comprehending what I'm saying is not getting personal and certainly not abrasively personal. You clearly did not understand the points I was making to feel the need to respond back with a novel. I've never spent so much time on a post that it got eliminated due to time restraints. lol This discussion is over.

Nope, I made some corrections early and 20 minutes later the whole thing got erased due to expiration of time for corrections. I.E., the whole thing got canned due to the correctional time limit. It was already past time to abandon a fruitless exchange anyway. Most of us post to exchange ideas, while some do so to argue and win. Posting to argue, assert dominance and win just doesn't resemble a fruitful and friendly exchange of ideas, imo.

ok in my post I had no corrections, and I agree, I will argue a little, but after that just let it go.
Most of the time you wont change anyones mind so why put out excess effort.

He's been blocked and with this format you can't see his posts if he's quoted because I've checked. I don't care if others see his posts as long as he's gone to me. It's the alerts that become annoying it's hard to ignore someone who keeps responding if their alerts keep showing up.

The alerts are the problem it's a great feature but if you have stalkers their repeated alerts can become annoying. It's a way for the haters to get your attention. Before the format change that added the alert feature I never put anyone on ignore I would just stop posting to the cry babies. Ignoring them didn't deter them they would continue responding to my posts. Once the format changed and I had to start dealing with their alerts I had to start blocking them. Anyone who's hypersensitive with cup cakes for nads whose feelings are easily hurt isn't going to last very long on my discussion list.

Everyone has to decide for himself when to continue to post and when to let it go. Trust me, I have seen fit to let it go many times in the past. There are other times when you try in vain to make a graceful exit and the other party continues to badger you with continually longer posts in an attempt to "win." It'll fire you up, believe me.
