I get being skeptical. I'm naturally skeptical. But you've got Stephen Jones and Jason Witten shoveling coal into the fire. This kid is bound to make an impact. Even a small one.

no timeline available, but you can see that the recovery is accelerating - which is 'typical'.
there is still no guarantee he will be 100% healed and not need the brace.
however, all the stuff coming out now seems to point to a very good recovery (knock on wood).

what probably happened is that the FO was holding back on a lot of news over the last few months - refusing to tell us when the initial 'firing' happened.
now that they think the recovery is going well, the news comes out in a deluge.

after this huge around of news, dont be disappointed if jaylon is still wearing a brace in 2 months.
this stuff takes time.
also this may be predraft damage control if we do not get the passrusher we want.

Or, as can happen in nerve regeneration, there has been rapid improvement lately in a short period of time.

that is true, except the foot dorsiflexion probably should have happened a significant amount of time before the toe lifting.
both were confirmed at the same time.

Is it really worth pissing and moaning about the pick that happened? I didn't like the pick when it was made. We could have had a defensive impact last year from that spot on a team that was one play from the NFC Championship Game. But it's water under the bridge now.

At this point it's about the defense getting better and can this kid be a part of that. I'm worried about 2017 and beyond.

What is full nerve regeneration and how does it compare to what he had before? Dumb question I'm just trying to get a picture of the timeline we'd be looking at where he is 100% healed with no brace

It seemed to me they were saying that he could have full regeneration by the time the season started.....

His tape before his injury? Are you ok man? The guy was the best defensive player in the country. He wont the Butkus award. Sorry but for you to say that makes it seem like you are a better judge of talent then every scout, GM, and coach in the country. Which im sorry to say, I dont believe. You very well could be, but if you can sit there with a straight face and say pre injury this guy wasnt the BEST LB to come out in a while then you dont know what you are talking about.
