Yes, it is always interesting when a team cuts a player like that at this time of year. The player must have broken some rule because he has no affect on the salary cap and there are roster spots open.

I believe they released Kemp because he wasn't showing necessary progress after tearing his ACL 9 months ago (he also tore the same ACL earlier in college). I remember watching him at UTEP (my alma mater): excellent route runner and some of the best hands I've seen for a guy coming out of UTEP. Such a shame, I had high hopes for the guy.

Funny you mention this, I ran into him in the DFW airport on Wednesday , he was wearing sweats and coming out of the men's room. Just talked to him a few secs, he mentioned he is in Dallas on personal business.



I don't think he is going to be on any NFL teams roster soon.
