A trade of 2+3 for 2+4 wouldn't be that bad. With them having a higher pick in the round, the Cowboys would only be moving down about 3/4 of a round with their 3rd round pick.

especially a second round player...... its not panic time...don't see anyone in the 2nd that I would give up a 3rd for... Hope they let the draft come to them....don't panic hang in there Mr Jones...play your cards.........Cowboys are horrible at playing poker with drafts trades...

If they think they can get a difference maker with the pick, I don't think that's a bad trade. I expect a very quick and furious run on whats left of defensive line talent to start the second round. Need to get in there and get our guy.

Other way around..either way it's a fair trade. #107 and #119 could get us back into the end of the 3rd round if we can find a partner. I don't know much about Lawrence, but it seems like we like him a lot and he has a lot of 1st round grades. He could really improve our pass rush.

Which is why you don't make the trade until Oakland is on the clock. If Atlanta goes up even higher for him, more power to them. We stay put and take BPA again, just like the first round.

Nope. We'd have to give our 2nd, next year's 3rd and approximately a 5th to get 36 (and we wouldn't get anything else back).

Why does info like this get out? Now other teams have a chance to make their own moves or make a better offer to Oakland. This is the type of info that should guarded until it happens.
