Daronte Jones is interesting and Leonhard has been on the radar since August.

Leonhard is at least at the top of the defensive coordinator wish list.

Jones is a “player first” coach, in that he fits his scheme to the players he has. Prior to the Vikings he was the DC at LSU and I think Hawaii. 4-3 is his base front

The main thing that i always look for in coaches to move up is who they learned under and where did they have the most success. Being under Flores for the last three years is what is most attractive. He’s not real young, he’s older than Flores, but he’s not a fossil.

I’ve been high on Leonhard for awhile but the zone first started talking about him a bit last summer. He’s under Vance Joseph and they get a crazy number of sacks but their forced turnovers haven’t been great.

He was the DC and Asst HC at Wisconsin and his defenses were very, very good. Maybe elite.

He’s a guy that will probably be a HC some day. He’s 43 but each step he’s been successful.

He was my #1 choice all year but I’m afraid Joseph is going to get a HC job and the Broncos will just promote Leonhard.

He’s was an NFL safety for ten years which helps also

Jones has some steam to him from what I hear around the league.

As far as I know Banda ha no experience with run game, that makes him a no for me, but maybe a prospect to give a tile promotion to and he can coach up Downs.
