Cowboys released Anthony Armstrong WR. Said he could be back week 2. If he had been on the roster week 1 then his salary would have been guaranteed.

Why would you hope that anybody gets cut? The coaches will decide who is the best player to keep and they know far more than any of us do. I will admit that I have pet cats just like anybody else, but I trust the decision makers and don't hope against anyone.

Armstrong is 30, he'll likely be on his couch unless the Cowboys call him back later.

Just don't see anyone beyond the #4 WR getting a sniff of action. Heck, #4 probably gets very little work as is.

I see the four as Dez, Austin, Williams, and Beasley with Harris used exclusively as a returner.

I'm thinking Harris (#4) will see a lot of special teams action, and Beasley (#5) with some slot action.
