Here’s a look at the few, the not proud, the players who were drafted but didn’t make the team:

Round 5, Pick 141: Panthers CB Zack Sanchez (Oklahoma)

Round 6, Pick 181: Jaguars DE Tyrone Holmes (Montana)

Round 6, Pick 197: Buccaneers TE Dan Vitale (Northwestern)

Round 6, Pick 208: Patriots S Kamu Grugier-Hill (Eastern Illinois)

Round 7, Pick 230: Bears WR Daniel Braverman (Western Michigan)

Round 7, Pick 247: Seahawks RB Zac Brooks (Clemson)

Wow....

Only one of that group I liked was Holmes, Braverman has a chance if he goes to New England and there steroid program.

Jets are waving CB Dee Milliner

Bigger bust, Mo Claiborne or Dee Milliner?

I know people hold it against Mo that we traded up for him, but just besed on their merits (or lack there of) who's the bigger bust? I say Milliner, but injury played a larger role with Milliner

Milliner. He's played on far better defenses than Mo has. Plus other corners have done well in New York. Outside of Scandrick, our corners all sucked.

I wonder if Jets are in need of a better pass catching TE and corner. Would trade them package of Escobar, McFadden and Carr for Mo Wilkerson. I would also work out the following players:

DE Tyrone Holmes - freak athlete plus proven production in school (18 sacks in his last season)
DE Ian Seau - good athlete but tenaciousness, production and high motor are what make him stand out
DE Scott Crichton - bigger than Mayowa (6'3 265 4.7 vs. 6'2 240 4.7) with similar athleticism but better school production
CB Zack Sanchez - skinny but a ball hawk
OLB Eric Striker - small, slow but great anticipation and has tremendous nose for the ball
FB Dan Vitale - if FB position is so necessary to this team, then get the best one in last draft and stop with the conversion projects (projects need to stay on PS)

Hoping Colts come to injury settlement with LB Junior Sylvestre so Cowboys can pounce on him. Same with Seahawks Kevin Pierre-Louis, hope he's a late cut. Both LBs are great athletes, similar in size and speed (6-0 235 4.5) but games are very complementary instead of duplicative. One is up the field playmaker, while the other is sideline to sideline.

And I'd also sign Greg Hardy on incentive based contract. Blackballing the guy is pure hypocrisy, even the Cowboys have other players who have been accused of domestic abuse but ownership/fans/media have looked the other way. I love Irving as a football player but his past domestic abuse and other off field charges are hardly recognized. Every team has SEVERAL of these players that teams are conveniently ignoring.

Hardy may be a poor human being, but we are not talking Peace Prize nominees here. And Hardy is hardly the only football player or athlete that has resorted to violence off the field. Some of these guys have been/will be enshrined in the HOF, even with that stain on their "record".

Sam Barrington

Former starter for Packers, but has not looked 100% since his ankle surgery. Like his size and speed for ILB (6'1 250 4.6). Could be similar to Donald Butler, one year wonder. Still 25, would take a chance.

Jusy require Hardy to wear a shock collar made for dogs. Red will have the remote to zap him at any time. I think it would work!

LOL. I could see Garrett all over that. Hitting a remote is very similar to clapping. Right up his wheelhouse. And he would not even need to coach him up, since we know how much he struggles with that. RKGs all day everyday, less coaching.
There are several players that need one.

Claiborne when he makes mistakes.

Dez when he runs his mouth too much.

Free when he gets bullied by a guy that weighs 50 pounds less than him.

Sanchez for sucking while holding a clipboard.

Any DE that goes a quarter without a sack.

Carr because he gets paid too much for mediocre results.

Put one on Jerry and auction off (for charity) the ability to use it.

See, now we are cooking with gas. Surprised Stephen hasn't already got a collar on Jerry right now. :D
