Cowboys' Running Back Room Gets Ultimate Bulletin Board Material For 2025

My thoughts exactly! Kept waiting during the draft for Dallas to pull the trigger on a RB. Instead they brought in retreads in FA.
The Pickens trade was a head scratcher because Breece Hall is who they should of traded for.
Dont bring up Breece Hall.

When that news broke, the amount of fans here who literally must only watch Cowboys games really came out. The amount of people who didnt want him was astounding to me.

Someone on this site who I wont mention called him a change of pace or complimentary back at this point in his career.

Same kind of people who think Blue is already better than Hall.

Breece has injury concerns and about to be a free agent.

So where are the resident homers and virtue signallers?

Shouldn't they be here accusing PFF of being haters, trolls, negative nells??

Here's some advice to the few of you since most of you aren't working anyway; get on down to PFF Headquarters and start a protest......here's their address :

Pro Football Focus is headquartered in 1216 Central Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH 45202.

Let us know how it turns out.
What an odd post. Does any Cowboy fan think we have one of the top 32 RBs? Or at least feel strongly enough about it to be as emotional about it as you seem to be

yeah odd move. i was under the impression they let him walk because they were insistent on upgrading. this team just never ceases to confuse.
I was hoping to bring back Rico if at a reasonable cost but I'm not broken up over it either. Supposedly he wanted a lot more and a longer deal when we were talking $s with him and then when he couldn't get it, he signed for what he could get, Who knows if that is what really happened or not. The rumor mill isn't the most trustworthy of sources...

You obviously have chosen not to acknowledge the numerous posts from homers calling board members trolls, haters, etc because of even the most minor critiques of our team.

PFF slammed our RB room way worse than we have so I'm calling them to keep that same energy up for PFF as well.

And just for clarity., I didn't REALLY want them to storm the PFF Headquarters......its called being facetious, but I am aware that a small percentage of humans take everything literally.

Well, I don't know how much you watched Hall last year but I watched him a lot and can tell you my Jet fan friends were hoping they traded him if they got good value. No burst. Not the same player. Not worth a 2nd round pick. Jet's fans wanted Hall and Allen to be in kind of a split last year. If the Breece Hall from 2022 was on the market, sure. Might he bounce back this year, of course, but he wasn't great last year and you don't give up a 2nd round pick for a player whose value is only elite based on his burst and who didn't have it.

Again. Another odd post. I've been called a hater on here many times myself. But you picked the wrong topic to take a stand

Well thank you so very much for instructing me on which topic to take a stand on.

When your not too busy from instructing others perhaps you'll be so kind as to make a list for all of us as to which topics meet your approval.

We're all waiting with bated breath.....

Again, I'm being facetious. Please dont make a list of approved topics

It's odd you think I don't realize where you are being facetious as those clearly aren't the parts of your whiny posts I was referencing, but...OK

So now I'm whiny?

So not only do you dictate what others should take a stand on, you also end it with insulting them?

Dowdle was not worth keeping. To me he was still an injury waiting to happen.
It was time to move on.
Fans always saying Jerry is too loyal and need to know when to let go of players. Well they did. And now some don't like it.

Maybe fans think that, because they didn't replace him with a top RB. I had no issues with them bringing in Williams and Sanders as FA's.
To hedge against the draft.
So the draft did not fall the way fans wanted it to for a RB. I am not completely upset about it, because they got 3 players that help far more than one RB could help at this point. As all the RB's available to them were basically the same RB from the 4th round on.

I have no idea how this group will turn out. They will be one of the more groups to watch during TC and PS games.
I am not expecting miracle, but I do feel it will be better than last year, but by how much. it is all a guess. New coaching staff, schemes, upgraded OL and OL coach. Don't expect miracles though.

Well, they should have been drafting mid-round RBs since a year before they knew that they were going to cut Elliott and not pay COP back Pollard, but nah.

I know quite a bit about Hall being local, but at what point is the ‘draft only’ team going to stop trading picks for one year of a player when the team isn’t ready to win as-is? Was probably either Pickens or Hall (based on what NY likely wanted) and Jerry loves his WR trades.

At least we have four years of the RBs they got when they finally decided to address the position.

All of us should be much more comfortable with day three RBs over day three DTs.
