It’s part of our system and recipe for success.

Dak is not the same QB when you ask him to do more.

Get a lead & find balance and Dak can create the illusion of being an elite player.

Outside of week 1 at Tampa I’ve never seen Dak successfully carry this team with his arm against gold competition.

Pollard and even Lamb need to be more involved in the run game. Jet motions and sweeps need to become a staple for us instead of this static 1960s / Garrett style of run offense that Kellen Moore has gone back to that is completely ineffective.

Question is why has their rushing attack totally disappeared? I wrote a post on this subject yesterday

Because Moore and JJ want to try and prove Dak is worth the contract....and obviously it's about tat and not about the obvious which is rushing equals wins for Dallas.

Been saying this for a couple years. Do not know why it escapes ownership and coaches. I guess maybe the talent is not there on the online to get it done.

Cooper Rush don't need an elite rushing game it appears.

The 40 million guy does though.

Incorrect.

It's because the line hasn't blocked well for the past month-plus. McGovern has held up in pass protection but really stunk it up in the run game which is bad for an OG. Biadasz is okay not special in the run game. The best run blockers are Martin and Collins which signifies that Collins should probably move back to LG to re-ignite the rushing attack.

The Cowboys are still running the ball on early downs as much as anyone. But usually getting stuffed for 0-2 yards per attempt. Therefore they end up having to pass their way out of such situations where they're behind the sticks. Kind of hard to run the ball when you're constantly facing 2nd and long, 3rd and more than a yard.

Nobody is scared of Dak.

If you stop the run you can beat us.
Some truth to this , but its because our D while opportunistic cant stop any good offense. If They can score points they can win.
Also, any Qb who is asked to throw , throw and win is not going to be successful without compliment of good receivers and playmakers …. That was one ingredient missing in some of our losses. Untimely drops and comm errors doesn’t help.
Definitely even Tom Brady and Rodgers appreciate good complimentary plays from (OL ) , Runners, special team and Defense.
The main problem in my opinion is OL ups and downs , that seems to affect Dak much more than some QBs. When he is thinking too much his mechanics suffer . He should just work on his mechanics and get the ball out fast and practice it with all our primary receivers again and again. Throwing to a position successfully , or crossing routes , quick out , slant consistently.

Ludicrous.. It's not that Dak can't win in a west coast offense, it's just not something they work too much on.. The whole cowboys offense is predicated by the run game to be working, it's not a Dak thing... It's a system thing.... If we're going to beat teams when running game is stiffled we have to be able to get rid of ball quickly with timed routes and comebacks.. Also, you need a mobile Qb which at the moment Dak isn't... Kellen needs to work on some new things, this is where we are failing..
