LOVE this pick. Arguably the best cover-corner in CFB last season. I remember Todd McShay saying last year that he thought he was the very best. This is an absolute steal at 92.

His ridiculous INT against Wisconsin was the best INT in college football this year. A little small/slight of frame, but he'll get stronger. Need to watch some more tape on him, but this is excellent value here. GREAT pick this late. Seriously love it.

*Had an off-the-field incident involving his girlfriends where she alleges he grabbed her by the throat. He pleaded Not Guilty. Trial is set for July 24th.

Im sensing a theme here. Both CBs they picked aren't guys who physically wow you with athletic traits. What sets them apart is the competitive drive they have as DBs. Looks like they are looking for tough minded Dbs. Guys who aren't going to sulk after they get burnt one time. Come back and fight harder.

Strengths
Ultra-competitive with an overwhelming drive to succeed. Allowed just seven catches in 2016 for completion percentage against of 23.3. An annoyance from press coverage. Squats on top of his target waiting to punch and impede. Twitchy feet can stick and close to ball instantly when he reads pass. Able to flip hips and accelerate quickly. Has lateral quickness and agility to flourish from the slot. Has adequate recovery speed to make up for an early mistake. Finds ball with back to quarterback as well as anyone in college. Maintains tight coverage downfield and waits for receiver's eyes to cue him in on when to turn and find it. In three years as a starter, credited with 42 passes defensed, including six interceptions. Allowed just two touchdowns during same time frame. Showed off ball skills and athleticism with highlight reel, one-handed interception against Wisconsin. Has special teams experience as a gunner and in return game.

The bolded is just what this team needs.

The drive to succeed is what separates talent. I'm excited for the young man.

**Todd McShay just went on a rant saying Jourdan Lewis was "the BPA 30 picks.. He's the best Nickel CB in this draft. I don't know that there's a better CB in terms of cover instincts, and the ability to stay in the hip-pockets of WR's. This is an absolute steal." Love this pick.

McShay had him at 35 overall on his Big Board.
