If the Ravens won with Justin Forsett, the Caridnals won with Andre Ellington, the Lions won with Joique Bell, the Colts won with Trent Richardson, Patriots won with a new RB every week, why would we crash and burn with a committee of Randle, McFadden, Dunbar, and/or Williams running behind an elite offensive line? And if we're in such fragile shape, what makes you think taking -- let's see -- the 12th RB in the draft would save us?

And there are lots of very productive tacklers. He could be the next Hitchens for all we know.

My question is his fit on the roster and what bang for the buck they will get out of this pick.

If they are not concerned about our current LBers that they needed to do this, I wonder why they would have our starters on the roster at all.

I could have rationalized players like McKinney and Kendricks because they were high level players that could have been more in a short period of time.

This is a special teams player with a Hitchens ceiling.

You do not take that with what was left on the board at this stage in the draft.

I like this pick. We need quality depth at LB. I like Gophers players too. Minnesota played some tough football last season.

In Eberflus and Bisaccia I trust.

Think of A Hitchens. .. Think of Devonte Holloman .. These guys are completely Eberflus and Bisaccia.

Eberflus among all the coaches, has kind of proved to find great guys in 4-6 round ...

And Eberflus I think among coaches, has the highest regard with Cowboys brass.

Now if we don't draft a RB or WR etc. .. the highest LB/CBs we have left for special teams any sort of special teamers:

Below we either brought in, or flew somebody out for a private workout:

1. Gabe Martin, Bowling Green
2. Darius Allen, CU-Pueblo
3. That's about it but maybe the overaged Mark Nzeocha, Wyoming
4. Travis Lee, Miles College .. Where the hell is Miles College?

Defense is the priority her and they are accomplishing that. If you think you know more then the Cowboys front office maybe you should try and get a job with a team.

If this was so necessary, why did we sign Brinkley and Gachkar to decent money deals?
