I’d prefer an outside candidate but if I’m being totally transparent I can’t act like I know enough to be angry over it. Schotty picked klayton Adam’s and he did pretty good

I’m open to him getting an interview and if schotty wants him to be his guy I’d defer to him. If it fails , he called his shot

I don't think it's bad they interview as many people as they can.

What is important is who they actually hire.

For example, sometimes a team will interview a coach on their staff just to get their name into the higher position mix of other teams in future years as a way to endear themselves to the coach in exchange for helping them with their future career.

Yeah tbh, it would have probably felt like a slight to him if he didnt at least get an interview. They are doing the right thing interviewing him, but I would be pissed if he ends up being the hire.

Exactly!!!! Why would we want ANYONE from last seasons staff. I want to wash off the stink of those defensive coaches. ALL OF THEM.

When everyone else declines, Whitecotton will be the hire. Jerry will sell it as he was his guy he really wanted from the start. After all, the DT’s were a strength all due to Cotton irregardless that he was gifted Q and Clark. I am fluent in Jerryisms

I’m not so sure being fluent in anything around here is such a good thing. You may be developing bad habits.
